I'm currently 21 and since I've been 15 I've been coming here to get all (except one) of my piercings done. Every one was done by Josean and they all came out perfect and had absolutely no issue healing. The one piercing I had done at another shop has been the only one on my body to ever reject. All the staff is super friendly and professional. And all of my friends go here for their piercings. I couldn't recommend this place more!

I've gotten two piercings here, my tragus and a regular lobe piercing. I needed only one lobe because one of mine had ripped so I needed a new one but needed it to match as much as possible with the height of the other. When I went there first for my tragus piercing, it was a decent experience and everyone seemed nice enough. The piercer was nice, sanitary and explained what he was doing. After a while I did end up getting a bump on my piercing, I called them and they told me to just keep cleaning it. I did my own research and realized it might be the type of metal that was being used. I changed it to a different metal and it went away. I don't know if they didn't have good quality metal or I'm just sensitive. I did eventually go back there thinking that a regular lobe piercing wasn't too much trouble. I did have to wait a long time but that isn't that big of an issue. I went to a different person than the first time and he was still nice but my piercing was so off, it was done much lower than the other one and was so noticeable. Needless to say, I had to let it close and go somewhere else to have it done again.

As a nursing student and a CNA, cleanliness and sterile products is something I keep my out for and everything he used was opened new and sterile, as well as switching gloves between my sister and I. I'm so happy I found a new reliable piercing! Will be back for more!!

I've gotten at least 4 of my piercings done here and I will never go anywhere else. The piercer goes out of his way to make sure sizing and position is 100% perfect and pierced so smoothly. I trust that this place is the cleanest piercing place around and don't get nervous when I go. I can not go anywhere else to get pierced because I trust that it will be safe and clean at ACT. I just got the bottom of my naval pierced and it's so clean and perfectly placed.

Josean is awesome and made my friends and I feel so welcome and comfortable. I got a nostril piercing and my two friends got their helixes pierced (no appointments made). He answered our questions with extensive knowledge and you can tell he really finds joy in piercing. Prices are super reasonable and cheaper than most places I researched before settling on ACT.Great place! Don't knock it because it is located in a mall. I will definitely be back to purchase jewelry when my piercing heals completely.

I took my daughter (17) here to get her nose pierced recently. I was a tiny bit hesitant because it was in a mall but I had read the positive reviews and decided to give it a shot. Boy, I'm glad I did. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, the experience was a great one. The woman at the counter was extremely personable and professional. She explained the paperwork we signed and the whole process. I also like that you pay after you get the piercing and not before. The guy who did my daughter's piercing was the best. Extremely nice and meticulous. My daughter was a bit nervous but he made her feel at ease and talked her through it. He explained post-piercing care and how to clean it. The piercing room was very clean and had a door for privacy. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you!

i went in with my friend to get a tattoo. when i was there one specific nerdy guy who first off didnt even look like a real tattoo artist gave her the tattoo and was very rude for no reason. he screamed in my face when i pulled my phone out and accused me of taking a picture of him. in reality he just wishes he was relevant and attractive enough but its never gonna happen. he kept bragging about his paintings which werent even that good. he also gave me the wrong size piercing before which caused alot of problems for me . would not recommend , im going to Boston instead. this guy is a disgrace to society and should be fired

I went in today , no appointment (Christmas Eve) . It was understandably consistently busy. But the staff that was there was very friendly and efficient.
I just want to make a point to say that the person who pierced me (I only remember his last name) Mr. Ortiz, was very professional, clean, and meticulous. I was most taken with how friendly he was, not just with me but everyone who came in. It made for a very easy and painless peircing for myself since I felt relaxed and safe.
I totally recommend this place. And my 3 piercings came out "DOPE "!

Having done all my piercings here, and seeing the art portfolio, I thought that getting my tattoos here would be a great experience. The shop is quite clean, and staff are friendly. However, once the peeling process of the healing skin began, all the ink peeled off the larger of the two tattoos. For reference, the tattoo which peeled off was 3 inches wide, and 3 inches long. It was a rather small tattoo, but completely disappeared after a few days. Not worth the money, or time.

Great experience! Went in on my lunch break and was quickly assisted. Pricing was very reasonable and the shop was clean. I had heard about A.C.T. from a friend who gets tattoos done there (they also are very well done). I was hesitant with it being a mall shop, but honestly, I've had a better experience here than at some other stand-alone tattoo and piercing shops. Definitely don't judge this place or think it's like a Piercing Pagoda just because it's in the mall. I've already recommended this shop to friends. I'm very happy with my new ear piercing!

Josean is the best piercer and I've been to quite a few.He's done everything from lower back dermals to my bellybutton and I have never had a problem with a piercing getting infected or rejected. In one instance I had visited another piercer who had done two intimate piercings for me. She had used the wrong style and size jewelry and I had gotten so swollen that the wrong jewelry had to be dug out and replaced with the correct size and style. Josean took me in as soon as I explained the problem and did it as quickly and painlessly as possible.His customer service skills are top-notch as well. In one instance I had a new piercing fall out and I couldn't get it back in. It was in a difficult area (under my tongue) and Josean, again, took me last minute and put the barbell back in before the hole could close. I can't recommend him enough.

He also got mad at me for taking a pic of her. I almost walked out in tears. I would not recommend him to anyone. If you go for a piercing the guy is very nice just not a tattoo.

Stopped in today to get my ear piercings reopened after not putting earrings in for almost 15 years. They helped me find Titanium earrings, and pushed them through for me. It took all of 3 minutes and was completely painless. They were also extremely friendly and very well priced ($30 for earrings and service.) I especially liked that when checking out the guy automatically hit "no tip" on the ipad. Of course I changed that and left a tip, but it just made a really good impression that he didn't push it or even expect it. And for the first time ever I have earrings in my ears and my ears aren't swollen. I ever decide I want another piercing I would go back in a heartbeat.

I went here for my first body piercing, a set of nipple piercings. I went originally because I thought it to be the most reasonably priced shop ($50 for both where some were charging $50 for one without jewelry) but I came away with such a good experience! The shop was clean and neat, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The piercer was so professional and really knew what he was doing, the piercing was quick and had minimal pain. And afterwards I got pretty dizzy and he got me water and helped me lay down and had candy to raise blood sugar levels. I will definitely be coming here again!

Got my nose pierced here and was satisfied for the most part. The price was good and the people that work there were nice, knowledgeable and quite helpful. The place is comfortable and the procedure was relatively painless. I suffered no infections or ill effects. My only complaint is that the piercer did not adjust the jewelry to fit my nose. This was a bit of a bummer because it was too big and therefore conspicuously visible inside my nostril. I learned later that he should have adjusted it.

They've changed their quite a few times since they've been in the mall. I haven't been there since it was named "Almoda" or something like that, but as far as I know they still have the same owners.The owner is really nice. The piercings are cheap. I got my tragus done here(by the owner; the only one I would trust with piercings) and everything went fine. I brought my friend here to get her nose pierced, and there was a different guy. He literally forgot to clean her nose before doing the piercing. We had to remind him. -_-I'd trust them with minor piercings like ears. But if you want to get something risky done such as your tongue, I'd say go somewhere else. I know the owner is certified to do piercings, but the rest of the people... I don't know. I'm not a piercer or anything but I have quite a few and even I know that they are supposed to clean the area before shoving a needle through your skin.

I just got my tattoo. It is my third, but my first here in the United States. I simply loved it! First off, the attendant at the front desk was very nice and gave me a lot of attention. Second, Jon, the guy who made my tattoo, was just amazing! He made me feel secure the whole time, he put on relaxing music to calm me down, and he was totally concentrated in his work, thus creating an amazing tattoo! The most important is that this place is extremely clean, the price was reasonable, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I walked by, just killing time and decided to go inside just to be nosey. I asked the guy a couple of questions, he was a fast talker but answered them mostly. I decided to go ahead and get a piercing. I got the cartlidge done. I loved it. It was fast, and kinda a bit too fast for my taste, the guy was in and out, and back to smoking a cigerette, while the other man at the counter was on his phone constantly. Other than that they helped me, and provided me with tons of tips for the care and help to my new piercing. And cut me a deal. ;) I'm going back for my belly-button this visit into town. Would recommend.

However, once the peeling process of the healing skin began, all the ink peeled off the larger of the two tattoos. For reference, the tattoo which peeled off was 3 inches wide, and 3 inches long. It was a rather small tattoo, but completely disappeared after a few days. Not worth the money, or time.

Great experience! Went in on my lunch break and was quickly assisted. Pricing was very reasonable and the shop was clean. I had heard about A.C.T. from a friend who gets tattoos done there (they also are very well done). I was hesitant with it being a mall shop, but honestly, I've had a better experience here than at some other stand-alone tattoo and piercing shops. Definitely don't judge this place or think it's like a Piercing Pagoda just because it's in the mall. I've already recommended this shop to friends. I'm very happy with my new ear piercing!

Josean is the best piercer and I've been to quite a few.He's done everything from lower back dermals to my bellybutton and I have never had a problem with a piercing getting infected or rejected. In one instance I had visited another piercer who had done two intimate piercings for me. She had used the wrong style and size jewelry and I had gotten so swollen that the wrong jewelry had to be dug out and replaced with the correct size and style. Josean took me in as soon as I explained the problem and did it as quickly and painlessly as possible.His customer service skills are top-notch as well. In one instance I had a new piercing fall out and I couldn't get it back in. It was in a difficult area (under my tongue) and Josean, again, took me last minute and put the barbell back in before the hole could close. I can't recommend him enough.

Customer service here when it comes to the piercer themselves are rude. They are not willing to help anyone if you have gotten any work done at other locations and won't even give you an explanation as to why and are rude. To the girls who work there are nice but to the man who was the piercer who refuse to even help me out thank you because I will definitely not be coming back to this location ever.

One of the tattoo artists tattooed my friend and he was incredibly rude to me. Her tattoo came out well but he was not a people person and didn't talk to her the whole time. He also got mad at me for taking a pic of her. I almost walked out in tears. I would not recommend him to anyone. If you go for a piercing the guy is very nice just not a tattoo.

Stopped in today to get my ear piercings reopened after not putting earrings in for almost 15 years. They helped me find Titanium earrings, and pushed them through for me. It took all of 3 minutes and was completely painless. They were also extremely friendly and very well priced ($30 for earrings and service.) I especially liked that when checking out the guy automatically hit "no tip" on the ipad. Of course I changed that and left a tip, but it just made a really good impression that he didn't push it or even expect it. And for the first time ever I have earrings in my ears and my ears aren't swollen. I ever decide I want another piercing I would go back in a heartbeat.

Went in for a nipple piercing as just a walk in. Girl in front was nice and helpful. Owner is the piercer. He really knew what he was doing and made you feel comfortable. Felt lightheaded after and needed to lay down for some time and was not rushed at all. I recommend them for any kind of piercing you may need.

I went here for my first body piercing, a set of nipple piercings. I went originally because I thought it to be the most reasonably priced shop ($50 for both where some were charging $50 for one without jewelry) but I came away with such a good experience! The shop was clean and neat, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The piercer was so professional and really knew what he was doing, the piercing was quick and had minimal pain. And afterwards I got pretty dizzy and he got me water and helped me lay down and had candy to raise blood sugar levels. I will definitely be coming here again!

Got my nose pierced here and was satisfied for the most part. The price was good and the people that work there were nice, knowledgeable and quite helpful. The place is comfortable and the procedure was relatively painless. I suffered no infections or ill effects. My only complaint is that the piercer did not adjust the jewelry to fit my nose. This was a bit of a bummer because it was too big and therefore conspicuously visible inside my nostril. I learned later that he should have adjusted it.

They've changed their quite a few times since they've been in the mall. I haven't been there since it was named "Almoda" or something like that, but as far as I know they still have the same owners.The owner is really nice. The piercings are cheap. I got my tragus done here(by the owner; the only one I would trust with piercings) and everything went fine. I brought my friend here to get her nose pierced, and there was a different guy. He literally forgot to clean her nose before doing the piercing. We had to remind him. -_-I'd trust them with minor piercings like ears. But if you want to get something risky done such as your tongue, I'd say go somewhere else. I know the owner is certified to do piercings, but the rest of the people... I don't know. I'm not a piercer or anything but I have quite a few and even I know that they are supposed to clean the area before shoving a needle through your skin.

I just got my tattoo. It is my third, but my first here in the United States. I simply loved it! First off, the attendant at the front desk was very nice and gave me a lot of attention. Second, Jon, the guy who made my tattoo, was just amazing! He made me feel secure the whole time, he put on relaxing music to calm me down, and he was totally concentrated in his work, thus creating an amazing tattoo! The most important is that this place is extremely clean, the price was reasonable, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

the only thing I would go in there for is a piercing and to buy new jewelry, that's about it. plus the owner just kept checking out every little girl that passed by or came in, that's just creepy.

Firstly: I'm not from Mass. I'm from NC and just come up for visits to my husbands family. So...
I walked by, just killing time and decided to go inside just to be nosey. I asked the guy a couple of questions, he was a fast talker but answered them mostly. I decided to go ahead and get a piercing. I got the cartlidge done. I loved it. It was fast, and kinda a bit too fast for my taste, the guy was in and out, and back to smoking a cigerette, while the other man at the counter was on his phone constantly. Other than that they helped me, and provided me with tons of tips for the care and help to my new piercing. And cut me a deal. ;) I'm going back for my belly-button this visit into town. Would recommend.
