From the employees and my artist helping me solidify a design prior to my appointment and then, on the day of being timely and ready when I arrived. This is hands down one of the best parts of P-Town and a necessary stop for anyone looking to add some body art. I went here with the goal of getting two additional love piercings on each ear (I already had the traditional single lobe piercings). Personally, I did not know what to expect and was VERY nervous. I came in as a walk in with my friend, and was greeted immediately by someone (who was on his break) explaining that someone would be right with us. This was an immediate hint that they know what theyre doing. The woman at the desk was super kind and helpful and the paperwork process did not take long. My tattoo artist was great! Very confident , friendly, and chatty, which helped ease the nerves while he did my tattoo. He understood the importance of making it exactly the way I wanted. I let him use his own opinion with some coloring and am extremely pleased with his work. He wasnt a regular artist there, but was visiting from Kentucky (I believe) at the time. His work healed very well and looks beautiful after having it for two months. My friend also got a nostril piercing at the same time. the piercer was quick, kind, and just plain good. Her nose has had no infections and looks great! Definitely a great place for walk ins, or even a place to stop in for information if you're considering getting a tattoo, they're very helpful. First of all: CASH ONLY. (ATM available)Went to this place to get regular lobe piercings and a helix piercing. The customer service was very good and fast. I was in and out within a half hour.Cameron made sure I was satisfied with the placement and that it was even before actually starting the procedure. He was very kind, patient and professional. He answered all of my questions!There are a couple of issues that I had: I wasn't able to pick the jewelry for my piercings. So now I'm stuck for the next couple months with jewelry that I don't like. But I can live with. Another thing is that I'd say it's a bit pricey but the price includes the jewelry (other places don't usually do that). I paid $120 for all three piercings. Although I did get a discount for getting the double lobes (usually $40 per lobe, paid $60 for both) I think maybe if a customer gets more than one piercing that are different, that there should be a bit more of a discount. Maybe not necessarily with the combination of piercings that I had. Overall I am very happy with these piercings. And I'd go back. Read Less

Absolutely fantastic.  I received tattoo #10 this summer.  After my friend Stephanie suggested I go see them for my epic "Link" from "The Legend of Zelda" tattoo, I rushed on over.I was told that Josh was really into video gaming and he would be the one to see.  I sent over a sample image of what I was looking for, plus some additions, and Josh was able to draw up a design that I loved fairly quick.Of all my tattoos, this one has by far the MOST detail.  The shading, dimensions, and quality are just perfect.  The colors are so vibrant that it basically comes off of my skin and bites you!I couldn't be happier!  Thank you so so much, Josh!  This tattoo is representing a lost loved one that I cherish, and your work is definitely worthy of honoring her! The head guy (not to name names) that is year round cannot spell for his life. I was getting a previous tattoo that was done there touched up because a few of the letters fell out due to the difficult space. I tried to get this fixed but I will have to go over it...Too much small town drama, trashing customers behind their backs and constant beef with other tattoo artists in town. I have been a resident on the Cape for periods of years for the past 15 years.  They seem nice to ones faces but unprofessional behind others backs. A bit more than normal tattoo shop drama... I got a new tattoo done at Mooncusser on my birthday this past weekend. I came in with a picture of what I basically wanted and they altered it perfectly! No wait, they got started right away and I was under the needle in about 15 minutes. For a relatively small tattoo it was more pricey than I had expected, but I guess that can be blamed on the detailing... which is lovely, however there are one or two spots that could have used a bit more attention. I blame this on the fact that the artist didn't work with very much lighting, which surprised me. All in all I'm very pleased with the work they did. One thing that did annoy me was that one of the other artists made a snarky comment about the fact that I was getting an anchor tattoo... everyone else there was friendly and great though! After my awful experience at Coastline Tattoo (see previous review), I walked into this shop expecting similar customer service (aka: awful) ...boy was I wrong.  The girl at the front desk was extremelyyyy friendly.  i showed her my idea and everything was going great...until they had no appointments available that day.  she said she'd call me if someone freed up, i lost hope....but in less than 10 minutes she called to say they could fit me in in a half hour.  Amazing.The tattoo artist Sean was awesome. So friendly and professional. He let my friend sit right next to us and watch and even asked for her input on the design. The entire process was very quick; the owner came over and talked with us the entire time.  Both Sean and the owner had great senses of humor and made me feel extremely comfortable.  I even asked if he would do a small small design on my other arm when he finished, and he didn't mind. They offered to touch up the tattoo any time, and asked us to come back and say hi whenever we were in town.  Also, he charged me the shop minimum which was awesome, since I asked for another tattoo last minute. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Mooncusser.  They were friendly and funny, made us feel so comfortable and (unlike Coastline) were not condescending about the tattoo design and concept.  GO TO MOONCUSSER if you are ever in ptown and looking to get some ink.
