After hearing great things about this shop, I decided to book an appointment with Eric for my first tattoo. Cobra Custom was every bit as awesome as everyone said, and more. I came in with a pretty vague concepts and Eric did an incredible job bringing my idea to life, and was super kind and accommodating --- especially to a tattoo newbie!! Cobra customs is the worst business I've ever encountered. Not only did they screw up my tattoo and then blame me for leaving with it and not realizing it because it was swollen. But 3 months later I still do not have the refund I was promised. And my bank statement saying there was no refund isn't enough proof for them and they won't give me the refund!! This was my 5th tattoo here and I never had an issue like this. I just recently had breast cancer surgery and finished radiation the end of January. I wanted a specific pink ribbon tattoo. But I'll make a long story short, Jason want to do it in Black!?? He was soooo against pink. Then he said he could use purple! What? That's for Alzheimer's! I said. Wtf! Forrest and In house artists and staff are incredible and talented to work with. Being an observer by nature, sitting in the chair for hours and watching Forrest and the boys create smiles on myself and others again with amazing work is constant . I had a great experience with Midas, he went out of his way to make me happy with my forearm tattoo. However, I found a picture of artwork that I wanted to add to the existing tattoo. I called them.  I was told to email. I emailed not once but twice with a picture of my existing and what I wanted Midas to add. I've never received a return call, a return email, nothing. You shouldn't need someone standing in front of to be taken seriously, and when you do touch base and ask them to email pictures of exactly what is being requested.....then several unanswered emails is just annoying Read Less

Perfect experience start to finish. Guy that makes the appointments (sorry I don't know your name) is knowledgable, helpful, and good looking :) Matt did my tattoo. I told him my ideas and he drew it in about 10 minutes. I asked for a few small changes and he came back with the final sketch quickly and we got down to it. Love this place! I've gotten two tattoos from Matt (one was a tricky cover-up), and they're my two favorite tattoos. My only complaint about the tattoos is they make the rest of my tattoos from other artists at other shops look awful in comparison! Would highly recommend this shop. On vacation and went in with 2 friends and had pictures and idea if price and placement. I was treated so rudely by the younger guy behind counter. Because of his attitude all 3 of us decided to go else where. Hope they are happy loosing over 1,000 dollars in business. What a bad person to have at your counter. Just went to Cobra today to get my first tattoo and I had a really great experience. I had been there before to see my girlfriend and her sister get their tattoos, but this was my first time on the receiving side. Matt did my tattoo, and he was wonderful- he made me feel really comfortable and was VERY nice. He also did a beautiful job on my piece which helps!This place is also extremely clean, and is in a great location in downtown Plymouth. I went to Cobra for my first tattoo after reading awesome reviews. The shop is so great--wonderful art on the walls and impeccably clean. Everyone is friendly and kind and simply waiting for my appointment was a pleasant experience (loved the mix of music on the speakers!). Chops did my tattoo and he couldn't have been better. The design was relatively simple but he took the time to get it just the way i wanted and did a great job of putting me at ease throughout the process. Both my wife and I went.  We couldn't be happier with the results.  Forrest did mine and Ryan did hers.  The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional (this was the first tattoos for both of us).  The shop was absolutely spotless.  Clean from top to bottom.  I was very impressed that their website touts the fact that the artists there are all Red Cross certified annually in dealing with blood-borne pathogens (as well as CPR and first aid).  It was easy to see after being there that they take safety and cleanliness very seriously.  Oh, and then there's the results.  Everything came out great.  Ryan and Forrest made some suggestions and answered our questions without making us feel like stupid newbies even though our tattoos were very modest by the standards of some of the incredible work I saw there.If you're looking for a tattoo studio, I recommend Cobra Custom very highly.
