I Loooove this place. Sweets took all the random pieces on my arm and turned it into a beautiful sleeve. I trust him implicitly. His composition, symmetry and how he uses color and negative space is phenomenal. He won't be available to do my left sleeve but I've been looking at Steves work... so clean and beautiful. When I first walked into Blue Jacket Tattoo the girl at the desk and Steve were very friendly and took the time to talk to me about the tattoo I wanted! Steve gave me tips and ideas of the area I wanted and told me colors that would work and colors that wouldn't work! Steve wasn't available for a few months so I scheduled an appointment with sweets who I was recommended by six people to go and see. I sent him an email with a picture of what I wanted and the colors I wanted an...d also asked some questions! I didn't get a response. The following week I went in to get my tattoo! Sweets was not very personable, didn't really talk to me at all! I loved the outline he drew. So I thought maybe he read my email and talked to Steve what I wanted! I'm not very good at looking at needles so I didn't watch what he was doing. When I did look it was too late! He didn't do anything I wanted! It wasn't the color I wanted and it had shading I didn't want! I am very disappointed by my tattoo especially since I have to look at it everyday! I do blame myself for part of it because I didn't clarify anything with him before I got something permanently put on my body! I put too much trust into The recommendations that I got! I had an old tattoo done over. Made some changes by covering up some parts and adding to it as well. Steve did a fantastic job designing it. He took his time working on it until he designed the perfect solution. The place is very clean and comfortable. The price was extremely reasonable too. It was an amazing experience going to Steve's shop in Plymouth, MA with my father and step mother. All three of us got tattoos today, we were scheduled back to back. I was a tattoo virgin until today and he was very easy with me, paid special attention to how I was reacting and making sure I was okay.
