I'm not one to usually write a review but I feel I must in regards to Brass Rose Tattoo. From the day I walked in to just look at portfolios to wrapping my sick new tattoo it was a 100% great experience. Very opened, clean, friendly environment. This was my first and both artists whom I must say are extremely talented were very friendly and eager to explain the process and calm any nerves I might have. Kane did my work and it came out great. He is very friendly and knowledgea...ble. I came in with an idea and he helped me put it to life by guiding me through what would look good and what might not be the best idea. For me you can't put a price on an artist who cares vs someone trying to get to the next appointment. Again this was my first and it was a fairly large piece but really was not too painful at all. I had been told by people who have gotten many tattoos elsewhere that it was going to be very painful. I would contribute that to knowing what he's doing and having experience. I'm happy with the tattoo I got. However, the shop didn't seem to carry itself professionally. While I was getting the tattoo, the artist left the curtain open. Then an employee from the pizzeria next door would periodically walk in and converse with the artist while she was working, which made me uncomfortable and worried that she might get distracted and mess up. Furthermore, she allowed the pizza employee to hide beer in the fridge, so he presumably could drink on his job. This is unacceptable behavior. Read Less

I always said I'd never get a tattoo from a shop in Milford but after getting my first piece done a little more than a month ago, I've gotten 2 more! I got a dream catcher done on my thigh by Taylor and it turned out amazing! The lines and details are absolutely perfect. He chose such great colors and I couldn't be happier with the final result.
