I don't even know where to begin with Master Method. I have had both piercing and tattoos done here and have been disappointed in both. I got my ears pierced about 8 mos. ago with Jaime. She was very nice and discussed the process with me. She also told me that the earrings would last and never have to be taken out, even if, for example, I was going for an MRI. Well, as luck would have it, I needed to get an MRI a month or so later. I get there and what do you know...I needed to take out my earrings! For whatever reason, in that short time, the holes closed up and I basically had to get them re-pierced. I paid the additional cost without complaint and went about my business.
Yesterday, I realized that the front portion of one of the earrings had essentially broken off(the back stayed in place). I don't know how that could have happened as I rarely touch them. I went back to the studio and was talking to Jaime about replacing the earring that was lost. Aaron chimed in stating that they only guarantee the stone (didn't see that disclaimer anywhere-only that the jewelry was guaranteed), not if someone rips the earring out. I could not believe what I was hearing. First of all, I didn't rip it out and secondly, why does he continually undermine Jaime when she is working with a customer. They are co-owners and she should be able to talk to a customer without him taking over the conversation. She told me they no longer use the "designer" and therefore, the one earring I needed, could not be replaced because it wouldn't match. I would have to purchase a new pair. Aaron said he'd give me a deal, but I did not want his deal. I felt I had already paid more money than I should have had to for my piercing/earrings and did not want to have to pay another dime for something that should not have happened.
Now, for the tattoo...I worked with Aaron in Oct(ish) to create a memorial tattoo using an infinity symbol and the initials of the loved ones that passed. We discussed it and decided upon a design. The day before my appt., I called and was told that I had cancelled the appt., which I had not. Jaime stated there must have been another person with the same name and same design(and apparently scheduled the same day/time).. Hmmm? What are the odds of that happening? This should have been a tip off for me to cut my losses. I rescheduled for a couple weeks later and when I got there, they did not have the design we worked on and then proceeded to tell me it was never created and that the idea of it would not work. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? Why would you design something, delete it from your computer prior to the appt. and then say not only didn't the design include the elements discussed, but that it wouldn't work and that we never talked about it. Basically, what was drawn up was now removed and according to them, it never existed. I know I didn't imagine it. Tip off #2...
I wound up waiting several hours for the design to be drawn up (Tip off #3) and the tattoo was done by another artist in the studio.... I was responsible with my aftercare and did what was recommended(which as unlike the care I've used on my other 3 tattoos) and the tattoo now looks faded and it's awful. Some of my tattoos are over 10 yrs old and look better than this one. I'm incredibly upset by this. I will now have to get it redone or covered over. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
I have paid this studio A LOT of money for each of these things and feel somehow bamboozled. I wish I had never stepped foot in the shop and that I could undo everything they did, so it could be done right.
I don't trust them and would never recommend them to anyone. Read Less
