Boston street tattoo is the only place I will ever go for my tattoos brian has done pretty much all of the work on my arm and I can't believe how beautiful the pieces came out I get compliments on his work everyday people ask me all the time where did I get it who did your work I moved to Indiana recently and everyone here is always going crazy about my work asking who did it and saying they have never seen anything like my tattoos before .. I went to a tattoo place in Indiana to look around the tattoo guy said he would never touch my arm because of how beautiful the art was :) .. I had an old, faded tattoo basically done completely over, only 1000% better. Very professional and welcoming atmosphere and cleaner than an operation room. Brian, who tattooed me, is greatly skilled, extremely knowledgeable and all around nice guy. Judging by their portfolios, you can't go wrong with any of the artists. I made the appointment for my son's tattoo weeks in advance. We drove all the way to Lynn from Cape Cod. When we arrived the guys were stoned. We were told that the person who was supposed to do the tattoo wasn't coming in to do it. They found this humorous. Not cool! I will spread the word! !!Read Less

I had a set appointment and showed up only to find out the artist decided not to show up to do the tattoo. Walked in to the parlor to hear loud explicit rap music which is fine but being with my mother made it very awkward. The artists Ik there already smelled of straight weed and looked higher than a kite while getting ready to tattoo " private clients" I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone save your money seriously.. I got a tattoo from a place close to my home i showed them what i wanted and when he was finished i wasnt impressed at all.. it lacked color, vibrancy and detail. When i called and spoke to the owner he told me that the spot that i picked was hard to do detail and that my color would brighten up when it healed and he was sorry i didnt *love* my tattoo. I think when you put anything like that on your body you should he happy with it..Fast Forward my tattoo was very dull. I felt uncomfortable going back and i was referred  to Forte at Boston Street Tattoo i showed him the original picture,  and he slayed it. He answered all of my questions. I called to make an appt and they could take me right away, which was good because then I couldn't talk myself out of it.  I didn't get the man's name that did my tattoo but he was awesome!  He did a great job!!  The place is very clean and I'd go back there again for my next tattoo. Read Less

Went in with a cell phone photo, emailed it to them, they printed it, drew it. I didn't like the first positioning, he gladly redid it. Tattoo took longer because I got light headed half way through. Should have eaten first. Lol. They took good care of me, getting me a soda and letting me breath. Too much adrenaline. Love my tattoo from them! Will go back anytime and recommend them. Read Less

I wish I knew the name of my artist. I called and asked if they had time avail on a Saturday. They told me to come on in. I had an idea of what kind of butterfly(monarch) I wanted, but not confirmed design. My artist found the perfect picture and drew up a stencil. We ended up deciding on a butterfly with shadowing to appear 3d. My artist was amazing. 3 1/2 hours of work and I am soooooo happy with it.
