I called for availability, and I was able to go the same day. They are very clean, and professional. Sean did my tattoo and he was professional and did a fantastic job. I would recommend this place.

I have been a client of Sean's @ Tattoo 101 since 2008,
when I came into the shop for just one tattoo,
that's now has turned into a Beautiful Half sleeve....so far ;)
Sean is an Awesome artist in all designs,
he's very well known for his Bio-mech work,
But he can make whatever you want, better then you thought it could be!

What do you want from a Tattoo artist? I know I personally want someone detail oriented, talented, customer focused with a clean sterile environment.I received that and a whole lot more when I started my journey with my two sleeves. The shop at 66 west street is a smaller shop that can sit two clients. Most of the time when I am there I was usually alone with Sean. It's an extremely comfortable environment. The shop is surrounded with Sean's digital art. He specializes in Bio-Mech. In fact he has some of the publications in the shop he has been featured in for this particular style. This however doesn't mean he is pigeon holed into this style of tattoo. I came up with the concept of a Cthulhu Sleeve on my left arm and a geek based sleeve on the right. Sean more than delivered on his claim that he would make it pop. I have never seen a better Alex Ross Batman tattoo. He also worked with me on the placement letting me know what would work and what wouldn't. I am about 20+ hours into the right arm and it is developing extremely well. Sean has made me comfortable and advised me and kept me informed throughout the whole process. He has got me in quickly and accommodated my odd schedule. His rates are affordable and I firmly believe you get what you pay for when it comes to Tattoo's. I mean lets be honest. They are going to be on your body for the rest of your life right? Make it a good one. Invest in yourself.

They may be amazing artists, but I don't know, since I walked out after the second time in there of standing and waiting for someone to help me for 15 minutes.
