Love this place.... @thomassomebody is such an incredible artist. I just love the environment within the open and friendly Red House Irons shop...with half walls to be able to see everyone and the work they are doing....chat while watching tattoo artists at work! They also hold community events from time to time... I attended a Death Metal Yoga which was actually quite fun (and a good workout!)... and they have had some other fun knitting events and a hula-hooping plan coming next =) Highly recommend. Amazing and fun tattoo, a few months ago I went to Thomas for a deal the shop was having and got a really unique tattoo from him, and felt like I was treated like family there. I have been into this shop and had my eyeliner and lips tattooed by Jackie Marie. The shop is amazing and Jackie's attention to detail and artistic-eye is amazing! I'm so happy I went here for my first tattoo!  This place has an awesome atmosphere and chill staff. Let me start by saying the service and personality of the place is great and I love the atmosphere. That being said I was pretty unhappy with what was a very simple and straightforward tattoo. I've had a number of tattoos over the years and they were all very well done and have come to expect a certain level of quality in a tattoo artist. I don't remember the artist's name but his lines weren't straight, he'd shaded outside the lines in multiple places and sadly at the time I only noticed one spot where that was the case and he ended up just shading in that area a bit darker making it look a bit off and uneven slightly. The finer details were a bit uneven and felt like it was something lazily drawn out and colored in. It may have been an off day and like I said he was a standup guy and gave good service as far as personality and professional courtesy goes but if you're going to be tattooing something permanent on someone's body and charge for it, it'd better be perfect.  I hope I'm the only bad review on here as I wish them the best of luck. I love Red House Irons!!!! The whole crew is just awesome! The owner is my very talented artist of choice, his name is Thomas. He is amazing, flexible, easy to work with, respects all ideas and makes you feel welcomed and brilliant at the same time!! I have two tattoos by Thomas, one is a free hand lotus for a name cover up. This came out amazing!!! It is sexy, fun, bright, and a great cover up!!! Thomas even added in a few extra details so my lotus would work well with my other tattoo which is in close proximity. I then got a traditional style bird on my inner bicep. Thomas nailed it yet again! I submitted a photo above if you want to see for yourself! His shop is cool, new, EXTREMELY CLEAN, respectful, fun, and more than amazing. His prices are so fair too, the most fair I have ever experienced personally after collection 7 tattoos. Also, if you aren't interested in getting a tattoo, he has a piercer and a small collection of awesome gifts that you cant find anywhere. I always stop in even just to say hello, the shop loves to have fun with everyone who comes in! My next appointment is for Friday evening, which is great for my crazy schedule.
