General Info
We have 4 great tattooers- Aaron, Bruce, and Shawn. We do not pierce but we do sell body jewelry. We accept walk-ins on some Saturdays otherwise it's appointment only. To set up an appointment please come by the shop to speak to one of the artists and bring $20 for deposit. We accept cash and credit or debit cards($100 minimum) as payment. We do not give price estimates or take payments over the phone! We have a shop minimum of $50.You must be at least 18 to get tattooed, even with parent's consent. If you are under 21 we need to see 2 forms of ID and no matter what age or how many times you have been tattooed, we need to see your ID. We also have gift certificates.

OH MY GOD! I was super nervous for my first tattoo. I went in with a very small idea for my ribs, asked for advice on placement and size, and Sean was SO helpful. Instead of having a small tattoo I wouldn't have been as happy with, I took his advice and did an entire rib/side piece and IT IS GORGEOUS! Very clean salon - open everything fresh right in front of you, great staff, nice little shop. Sean was the man! It was so quick and he was talkative and friendly. I would definitely go back.

I recently went to Up in Flames for a tattoo based on a recommendation from a friend. I sat with Jimmy for about 3 hours give or take. I waked in with an idea and he made it come to life. I also walked in scared of the time it would take and if I could handle the pain again (second tattoo). He was kind, and very friendly. At times I almost forgot I was being tattooed, lost in his conversation. If you are getting inked, or even just thinking about something but you are not sure how to express it in a drawing, GO TO HIM. Best experience ever. He is professional, a talented artist, and a great guy.

This was my second tattoo and it was a better experience than the first! Jimmy Lazer was wonderful, took his time, told jokes, and was wonderful to work with all around. I told him what I wanted, he got it, and drew it up in a few short minutes. When I asked him to add a few things he did no problem! Only downside was that it had no designated parking available. I'll be going back for any further tattoo needs.

I always knew if I ever decided to get a tattoo that it would be Bruce at Up In Flames who I would go to. I've known him since back in the days of break dancing and tagging so I already knew how talented he is! I had a general idea of what I wanted...something in memory of my brother with sentimental meaning to me. I had it pictured in my head, a blackbird with Beatles lyrics around my wrist. I expained it to Bruce and he came up with the design. It was perfect. They say this spot hurts (the wrist) but Bruce was his usual silly self, telling stories and making me laugh, that I felt no pain at all. I could not be happier with my tattoo or the selection I made when I picked Bruce.

Instead of having a small tattoo I wouldn't have been as happy with, I took his advice and did an entire rib/side piece and IT IS GORGEOUS!
