My husband and I brought some reference material to Daryl to draw out custom pieces for us after hearing about him from a friend who has had several pieces done with him and is planning several more. He met with us to show us rough drafts and get our feedback before he completed the sketches and it was clear he listened and got what we were going for. There was not much we needed to tweak at all but he was very open and responsive to our thoughts. He was mindful of budget a...nd we got exactly what we wanted for what we were comfortable spending. I only have one other tattoo and it's 12 yrs old and small, so I had no idea what to expect sitting for a large back piece. Initially I wanted to split it up because I didn't know if I could sit still that long and then friends with larger tats convinced me it's better to get it done at once and only have to heal once. Daryl was very accommodating to my change of heart and came in early and stayed late so he could work it in to get the whole tattoo done in one sitting and I'm so glad I did it that way! 5.5 hrs of tattooing plus set up and wrapping up went by pretty fast, with good conversation. He is an easy going, genuinely nice guy with varied interests that make him easy to talk to. His shop is clutter free and clean. It's clear safety is a priority for him, which was one of the key factors that brought us to him. He gave specific instructions on how to care for my tattoo and answered all my questions. We are very happy with the tattoos and also the customer service- I work in a customer service field so I had to take the time to write this up. If I get more tattoos they will be with Daryl for sure, I highly recommend his work- he's detail oriented and it shows in the final product for sure! See More

Just got my first tattoo there yesterday. I couldn't be happier! Daryl was really calm, knowledgable, and extremely talented. Great line work and very cooperative. I will be going back!

Daryl is easily one the best tattoo artists in the area. I was nervous about my first tattoo but he kept me entertained and he helped take my mind off of worrying. I went here for my first tattoo. At first I was a little aprehensive bc the surrounding buildings were not that nice but I was immediately impressed by the clean and welcoming environment inside the studio. My one complaint is that it did take quite a while for them to prepare my outline on paper but besides that they were amazing! Very professional and clean, a bit expensive but well worth it, every tattoo enthusiast that sees it is impressed by the vibrant colors, minimal scaring and clean articulate work!

I went here for my first tattoo. At first I was a little aprehensive bc the surrounding buildings were not that nice but I was immediately impressed by the clean and welcoming environment inside the studio. My one complaint is that it did take quite a while for them to prepare my outline on paper but besides that they were amazing! Very professional and clean, a bit expensive but well worth it, every tattoo enthusiast that sees it is impressed by the vibrant colors, minimal scaring and clean articulate work!
