Front of house staff was very welcoming and made me feel at ease and comfortable before my appointment. Shop is incredibly clean and the artists working were present and engaged with their clients. A friend of mine recommended Eridanos Tattoo. Unfortunately, I never got to meet the artist and get my tattoo since my experience started bad from the first phone call with Stephanie when trying to schedule a consult. I was pushed to skip the consult and schedule the sitting right away. However, I expressed that I would be more comfortable with an initial consult. I was told that taken credit card info will be held until after the consult when I am ready for a tattooing appointment. However, my credit card got charged without my consent and when I contacted Stephanie about it, she insisted that I had her charge my card which is not true. I was also told that it doesn't matter if I am charged today or later, I will be charged anyway! I didn't get a reply to my second email for 2 days and when I followed up over the phone, Stephanie asked me to remind me about what is MY issue as she has been TOO busy at the shop to take care of other things. The entire time while communicating with Stephanie, she had an attitude, I was NOT heard and listened to and that is a very poor customer service. Unfortunately, I didn't get to talk to anyone superior as turns out she is a manager there! Adding a tattoo on my body is an important moment for me. With an experience starting so unpleasantly right from the start, I chose to cancel the appointment. I believe that the artist is great there. Too bad the front desk falls short with such a bad customer service practice. My hope is that this message will inform the owner(s) about poor customer service at their owned tattoo shop. Read Less

Got a tattoo with Josh yesterday. The shop has such a cool design with local art on the walls and windows between the tattoo rooms.I went on Wednesday with an idea and got an immediate consult with an appointment for Saturday afternoon. He was super nice, listened to what I wanted, how I wanted it both similar and different to other tattoos I have, and asked for my inspiration pics. I rely, fairly heavily, on my artist's opinions and input for design and placement. It was provided With 13 years experience and no pressure. Saturday I went in for my appointment and he had a design ready. I asked for a couple changes that were quickly integrated. The staff were all so nice and told me about the upcoming exhibitions and guest artist in the shop.Came in with a follow up question today and spoke with 3 artists (including Josh) within 5 minutes. Even if you don't want a tattoo today, come in and check out the local artwork. Read Less

I got my first tattoo here when I was visiting my friends in Boston from out of town.  It was a small tattoo, but Eridanos was incredibly accommodating.  Michelle Dugan agreed to come in two hours earlier than the shop opened to do my work, since I had to literally hop on a flight that same day.  It was a low pressure environment, it felt like they wanted to make sure that I was satisfied and 100% wanted to go for it.  I get that it takes up time to mock up a tattoo and sketch it out, but I felt good that Michelle made sure that I loved the final design.  Would definitely recommend these guys.  My tattoo also healed really nicely, very minimal peeling or scabbing. Fantastic shop. Friendly, accommodating, professional and talented. I was a walk in but you'd never know it from the care and quality of the tattoo. The piece I got was the result of losing a bet, but I actually really love it. This is no mark of shame: I'll wear this with pride. Bob is a wonderful artist, I'm hoping to get more work done with him I future after such a great first experience here. I can't recommend Eridanos highly enough! I should lose more bets more often. Recently had a new piece done at Eridano's, my first visit, work done by Markus Blanchard.  Couldn't be happier with the results, the work is beautiful, Markus was quick and friendly and really talented.  The piece I got was drawn by a friend of mine and it is absolutely perfect.  The gallery style art is so great to get lost in while waiting and the prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the quality of the work.  I've seen some of the other tattoo artists work on Eridano's Instagram page and everything always looks incredible, so I'd say it's a safe bet to choose any of the artists there.  Highly recommended, check out their IG to see some great stuff! This entire shop is full of some of the most talented, kind-hearted, and awesome human beings that I've met in this industry. These are by far some of my favorite people on the planet, as well as some of my favorite artists. I'm in the process of getting a full back piece done by Mark Blanchard. He has this incredible way of taking the shape of my body, the way I move, and the way my body moves and incorporating that into how he designs the tattoo. One of the best tattoo shops I've been to, in any state or country. Spotlessly clean and professional yet also quirky and fun, with artists who specialise in various styles and spend a great deal of time with you finding the right flash, or else creating something from scratch. Finally!! An upscale tattoo studio in Boston! Just got done with my consultation with Mark and the whole experience was great! Bouncing ideas off of each other with my existing (unfinished) tattoos and ideas for future projects was awesome. What drew me to this studio was the fact that there is ZERO flash on the wall. Appointments only! Instead, Mark has paintings on the wall signifying that the shop isn't a typical studio in Boston but a gallery for art to be admired.
