Went here a few weeks ago to have John do a tropical tattoo that is been dreaming about. Dude really is a true artist who cares about his craft and what he puts on people. I didn't give him too much to go on aside from "palm trees and beach" and he ended up coming up with an amazing scene that looks gorgeous on my arm. Even my friends and family who don't like tattoos at all are impressed with the quality. I have gone to Colby for years now. She has a very unique and creative style. I have asked her for some unusual Tats ( dainty, small, detailed and feminine ) and she always pulls it off above and beyond my expectations. She is kind and patient and caring. I am always impressed that with the thousands of clients she has she still remembers details about our conversations and my life, and to me that says a lot. I took my daughter for her first tatt yesterday. Russ did a great job putting up with us both, so thanks Russ. I love the finished product. He was patient with her mind changing 3 times in the week before our appt. Over all it was a great experience. I have my own appt on Tuesday with Russ and im looking forward to it emensly. I can't recommend broad street enough! For a first timer Henry was amazing and took the time to explain everything to me and tweak the design until I was completely happy. He made sure to keep checking in with me throughout the long session and let me know I could stop at any time but he gave me the courage to power through. Started a quarter sleeve yesterday, with Russ, including a cover up of an old tattoo. Russ was great!! I highly recommend going to him. Very cool dude and very talented. Had some great ideas on how to cover up the old one so it would match the new design. (Plus he's a Prince fan so that's a big plus!!). Place was clean and has a friendly staff. I had my FIRST TATTOO done at age 53!! I think my daughter was so tired of hearing me say how much I wanted a certain symbol on the back of my Ankle/Calf that she gave me a Tattoo for my Bday......It was done by Russell and he was fantastic. He's a great Artist (and a nice guy too) who made me feel completely comfortable. I'm sure he knew that I was nervous! It came out PERFECT. It was EXACTLY how I had pictured it in my mind and put in the EXACT spot where I wanted it. Broad Street Tattoo Parlor is well decorated and very CLEAN. Everyone is friendly and personable. Today I got my first Tattoo by Russ at Broadstreet Tattoo !  He was so fabulous.I am sure he knew that I was nervous. I brought my daughter (22 years old) who bought me the Tattoo for my Birthday. I thought WHAT THE HECK, I'm 50, I can do whatever I want now!! So I started small (1 1/2 inch to 2 inches square) on the back of my leg/ankle. Russ explained EVERYTHING to me as he went. When finished he was excellent at giving me the directions on how to take care of it while it heals.  He's a really nice guy and fabulous artist too. I got EXACTLY what I wanted and it's perfect.  It's clean there, their staff is really great.  I had heard through the grapevine that they were good but I'd say EXCELLENT. Way to go Russ !  I may be back as everyone says that once you get one...you become addicted. Read Less

I followed Mariah to here from her old tattoo shop and I am so happy she switched over to Broad Street Tattoo Parlor. The location of the shop in downtown Bridgewater is very convenient and parking is plentiful although the shop does not have a private lot. The shop is clean and beautifully decorated and their merch is really nice looking. Another great benefit to this shop is that artists have their own private booths to work in so there's some degree of privacy while you're getting work done. As nice as the shop is, the artists are what make Broad Street Tattoo Parlor phenomenal. Mariah does beautiful tattoos in a variety of styles. I've been getting color, neo-traditional from her but her portfolio includes all kinds of styles so I'd suggest hitting her up in particular if you're looking to get work done. Colby, one of the shop owners also does really great work, particularly on realistic looking tattoos. Check out the shop Instagram for some work from them and other artists. They were closed today but Colby put me in touch with Henry this morning and he met me at the shop at 3 to give me the tattoo I wanted. Let me say first, this place is unlike any tattoo parlor I've ever been to. It is beautiful inside, nicely decorated and super clean. Henry was awesome and incredibly friendly (I've met a lot of artists who are not friendly). He drew up exactly what I wanted and did a perfect tattoo. So glad to have found my new place for tattoos!
