I've been going to Dan, the shop owner, for years and he's done numerous custom tattoos for me. Aside from his amazing work, Dan's personality, work ethic, and integrity is what really stands out. For this reason I have brought numerous people here to get their first tattoo. The shop is very laid back and welcoming and Dan is so friendly, patient, and approachable. He will gladly answer questions and offer suggestions regarding design, color, and placement. Dan will do whatev...er is necessary to help his client have a positive experience with their first tattoo. Whether it's talking them through each step along the way, taking frequent breaks, or cracking jokes to ease their nerves. I've seen it first hand and have visited plenty tattoo shops and I can honestly say you won't find another shop that truly cares about the client the way he does. Oh and as a bonus, his prices are extremely reasonable. For the quality tattoos he does, he could easily charge more (like most other shops) but he values his return clients and makes it affordable to keep going back. I do not recommend going there I got a tattoo in November of 2016 and it is now 4-5 months later and the entire thing is very faded it doesn't look real it looks like a fake tattoo that you would put on with water very disappointed. Read Less

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Big dan did my butterfly tattoo and screwed it up so bad i had to go somewhere else to have it fixed. Im not sure how you can be a tattoo artist but cant hand draw butterflies. I would never go here ever again plus they are way overpriced for what i got. Thats a big never again. Read Less

Dan is a true artist does quality work never disappoints. Fair and reasonable prices. Cares about his work and his clients. He does several pieces for me. When it came time for my son to get his first ink there was only place he was going and that was to Dan at shark bite!!!! Read Less

If you go to this place make sure you're very careful who you choose.. I have many tattoos and I went in to get something small on my day off.. It's been two weeks and some of my tattoo is gone. I've also seen second graders draw straighter lines. Would never go back. Read Less

This is a great tattoo shop just before going over to the Cape. Dan & Fred are awesome artist and can help you imagine any tattoo you can dream of. They have years of experience and have tattooed just about everywhere on the body. They know what works where for placement along with what colors work best together.
