My wife and I went to get new tattoos for our anniversary and our initial experience was good. However one month later when I called to schedule a touch up for my initial work done they would not return my calls. When I finally got a hold of someone several weeks later they informed me that the tattoo artist I had was no longer working for them and that their touch up service after your initial work no longer applied. This is contrary to the agreement I signed when I had the work done and they refuse to honor their free touch up. I will not ever use them again nor would I recommend them to a friend. Read Less

Out of all the barbershops I've been to in the US, I think this one has been my favorite, probably the best haircut I've ever had & the actual shop is set up really well. Went here for the first time today and won't be my last, got hair cuts in Australia different parts of ameriaca and Europe and nothing compares to the cut I got in this place. Such a cool barber shop with a pure chill out atmosphere. Roy gave me a 10 out 10 cut and took his time. Simply great! I would give it more stars if I could. Happened to be in Boston, happened to need a haircut and happened to find this great barber shop. Walked in, joined the list and had a coffee waiting for my turn on their cool coffee shop next to a great tattoo artist on the job. In less than fifteen minutes they got me on the chair. Over the result I will simply resume it with the best adjective possible: Professional. Just a few words and they got what I wanted. The result was great. I went for a walk in haircut. I chose this place because I sometimes get some weird looks walking into a barber shop as a masculine woman. I figured this place was funky enough that no one would care, and I was right! I got a lovely haircut, paid cash, and was out the door in about 20, maybe 25 minutes. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I wish i could give it a zero. I never write reviews but the service (or lack of it) literally forced me to write this one. My hair was done by David. I had gone there after reading several good reviews and was hoping I would share the positive experience. 1) First of all, he was extremely RUDE from the very beginning. When asked for his recommendation for my hair, his response was "I don't know. It's your head. You have to roam around with it". Seriously?? I always ask stylists for their advice and they have always been more than happy to provide suggestions. Maybe David was having a bad day but that's not how you respond to a customer. I thought you were in the service business.2) UNHYGIENIC - David DID NOT change the blade for doing my hair. This by itself is reason enough for me to stop going to a barber.3) TACKY - When I got home, I realized that my side burns were uneven by almost 1/2 inch (see pictures). Even the hairline on both sides was uneven. Such rookie errors. I think the guy was in a splitting hurry. He did my hair in 6 mins flat. I waited almost an hour for my haircut. After that, the least I expect is average if not excellent service.My advice, take your business elsewhere!!!! Read Less

Its not very typical of me to give anyone 5 stars, ESPECIALLY for my hair since I am so picky about it. Was going to the same barber for 8.5 years when I moved from MA to NYC. Moved back home and walked in to get a line up and a shave with Arty and I honestly cant say enough about how much of a great experience I had. Not only did my cut and shave come out perfect, the first time, but Arty was super cool and personable. Super happy I found a barber and my spot when I went in for my first cut after moving back home to the bean!! I've been there several times. Nice place for a quick decent haircut. Unfortunately not all the barbers have the same abilities. Some are really good, other don't. Today I noticed that they raised their price of 20% from$20 to $24. Luckily I got a good barber so I cannot complain, but I was a bit ticked by the raising of the price. Read Less

Requested a last minute appointment on Tuesday, received a call within the hour offering two options for either the Fri/Sat I was going to be in town. Emily requested some of my design inspiration, and when I arrived, Cat had nailed the idea. What was initially intended to be a consultation + possible session easily became a no questions asked "Let's do this!" session.  Cat was super chill, easy to work with, and had such a light touch it literally didn't hurt. The haircut itself came out fine. Although, the barber that was cutting my hair talked over my head to another barber. No one really spoke to me at all and it seemed like they weren't interested in helping me. It was a pretty awkward experience.Seems like the cater to a specific demographic. I suppose knowing your consumer market is good but it's unfortunate that it doesn't include me. Oh well. I'll keep looking. Read Less

Roy did an excellent job on Sampson's hair. He took his time and the cut reflects it. Sampson of legion had much more trouble. He should have come here. Very friendly and polite. My first time there was amazing. Arty was my barber and he did a magnificent job. It was one of the best haircut I've got. The fade and line up was really nice. The haircut came out exactly how I wanted it to. He listened to me and take the time to figure things out.I visited today and Arty wasn't there. I decided to try someone else since the haircut was urgent. One of the barber took me and it ruined my experience. He rushes through the haircut. He talk constantly to other barbers and did not pay attention. I take detail very importantly. My fade was awful, it wasn't tight and I could see the hair being uneven. I asked him to clean my eyebrows and it ended up making them significantly thinner. I'm honestly upset because the haircut wasn't cheap. Read Less
