Good Voodoo Tattoo is an oasis for a fix of tattoo therapy!  The entire experience from start to finish was perfect and I'm proud to say that I'm a fan of the shop and the artist!Our experience began with being greeted by a friendly and humorous staff with a skill set that made us feel comfortable in their at-home environment!  After the proper papers were signed and we noted the clean, sterile environment, my son went first and his Patriots tribute tattoo was outstanding, expertly done by Benjamin Vachon, it was a real work of art!  And up next, my daughter-in-law; and she chose a tropical scene that was so good that it literally popped out at me when I saw it!  Then it was my turn, the ol' lady of the group; and Benjamin went out of his way to patiently answer my endless questions and although this wasn't my first tattoo, it had been a awhile and I was apprehensive.  But, I quickly found that there was no need to be because Mr. Vachon has the lightest touch of any tattoo artist I've ever experienced!  It was virtually painless and he swiftly created a piece of art on my arm that was flawless in its presentation!  I had my "heart" set on a "heart" tattoo for Valentine's Day and he created one that was masterful but simple, elegant but trendy and in general it was exactly what I wanted!Benjamin Vachon is the "real deal", an artist extraordinaire, he creates works of art that encompass everything from lifelike to beautiful to unique and the list goes on!  Please don't hesitate to visit this guy, have some blind faith in my experience and I am certain that you'll be happy! AVOID THIS PLACE! Over priced tattoo's The black ink on my tattoo faded within weeks The skill of the artist that tattooed me is fair at best. Not sure if the tattoo needles that they were using were new and clean. My tattoo got infected and created a mole like scar. So, I called 3 days prior and made an appointment for 11:00am that Friday. Spoke to Ben. He stated he could fit us both in, no problem. My wife and I both took days off of work to get this done. We show up at the shop at 11:00am, they’re closed. No big deal, we assumed they were running late. We waited an entire hour.....nothing. Nobody showed up. Nobody answering the phone. And I received no calls to reschedule. I called another shop that was able to fit me in. While on the phone, I was asked “Where are you? Good Voodoo?” Wow, guess this is very common. So, making an appointment here means nothing. I was told at the shop I went to, that they had just tattooed someone else who had gone to Good Voodoo, seen us in the car waiting and left. I got my first hip tattoo here and it was BEAUTIFULLY done. I came with this idea in my head of what I wanted and a few reference photos. The artist did an amazing job with the line work and details. Everything was so clean and professional, I couldn't have been happier. I thought I'd be coming back for every tattoo.Went to schedule an appointment over a month in advance, the artist told me "sure". Then the night before the appointment, I was bailed on because "their schedule was pretty tight that day." I was blown away with the unprofessionalism of that situation and lack of communication and respect towards a loyal customer. I will no longer being going here because of that. The only reason I gave 4 was because the piece we got was so easy. What is worth mentioning is that we (my girl and I) both got some work on our hands. The placement is an unusually difficult location to get ink to stay but Sean stood by his work and went over both of our tattoos on a second occasion. Great guy, great work, great prices. Horrible. Called two hours ahead to get a tattoo, they said I could get the tattoo today. I took a two hour drive to get there and upon arriving they told me that it was only a consultation. Very rude staff. DON'T GO HERE. Except for Ben. Ben was nice. Read Less

I got my rook pierced here and noticed right away that the piercing seemed very shallow and didn't look right. I thought that it might start to heal over it and be fine. However, the piercing started getting more and more shallow and I ended up going to another place where the guy seemed way more knowledgeable about piercing in general. He advised that I take the piercing out and let it heal since it was only being held in by a small piece of skin. He told me that not only was it pierced in the wrong spot, but it was pieced with about two gages too big. I ended up getting it re pierced at a different shop and it cane out great. Bottom line is underground really messed up this piercing and I basically threw away my money there.Read Less
