I went to get my nose pierced. I checked in, JR introduced himself, then went to set up his work space. Once I went to get my piercing, he showed me his sterile utensils, then we discussed the position of where I wanted my piercing. Honestly, Jr.'s technique made the experience very pleasant! JR did a piercing for my wife and was very friendly and did a great job. However, the guy at the desk was very rude and acted like we were wasting his time. I was interested in getting a cover up as well as a new tattoo. At no point did he ask if he could set up an appointment or offer one of the artist to come up to look at the tattoo I wanted covered up. Basically took my wife's money told her to sign here then just went back to playing on his phone. I have had several tattoos done there many years ago. Met Dana several times outside the business. I was fascinated that my tongue piercing did not hurt at ALL when it was done by JR. Maybe it was because it had been done before, but I swear the hemostat-thing hurt way worse.JR was very professional albeit a little abrupt and rushed. I got my belly button pierced last week by JR, he was very nice, kept me calm (I'm a baby with needles) showed me the new needle he opened from the package and made a point to show him throwing it away when he was done. JR did my tragus piercing a couple weeks ago. It was fantastic and I am extremely satisfied with the service, price, and JR's calm and supportive demeanor. I dang near backed out of getting it when he told me he had to pierce it with a hoop, which I thought was WAY too big. Hands down JR is an amazing, skilled, and one of the best professional piercers I've came in contact with. The shop in general is pretty clean and well kept. My sister and I went to get a piercing. Even though we aren't strangers to one another, JR still made sure to change the sheet on the bed before we sat down after each other which definitely stuck out to me as them being clean! He explained each step of what he was doing as he did it and he showed each of us the packaged needle he would be using for our individual piercings. Aside from that, he was very thorough with explaining and answering any aftercare questions we had. Went there after work to get some piercings done. JR has got to be one of the friendliest most laid back piercers i've ever met. He walked me through the process and showed me that all the equipment/Needles were sterile and still in their packaging. I just got my nipples pierced and my friend her VCH by JR. He made us both feel very comfortable and was very professional. He showed us the needles and jewelry in the packages to show they were sterile and disposed of them in front of us. He was very friendly and talked to us to make sure we felt comfortable. I've been mulling over getting a tattoo for awhile now, and I only went in to get an estimate on what I was thinking. The shop is clean and the guys there are wonderful. This was my first tattoo and though I walked in super intimidated, they put me at ease right away. Very professional. The absolute best! Got my nipples pierced by J.R. and he was awesome! Wasn't creepy at all and made me feel very comfortable by constantly talking to me through out the entire process. Since then 5 of my friends have gone to him for several piercings and I've also turned a few friends on to their tattoo work. Very clean shop, not sketchy at all and everyone is super friendly. They guy that sits out front, Ben, is an AMAZING free hand artist (I happen to be good friends with his sister Hannah. lol.) and Dana is pretty bomb ass too. I was there this past weekend... my brother and I strolled in mid day with an idea of what we wanted but not really clear cut. Ben worked with us in squeezing us in later that afternoon and Keith (i think... i know it was a k... lol) was our tatt artist. He worked with us on font size and spacing since we were getting text tattoos and didn't put up a fight about all the revisions we did. He's a quiet guy but very professional and very good at his job. It took him all of 30 minutes to do both tattoos. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Once I found out that he worked here, I came over and set up an appointment with him.
