It was a fun and spontaneous day. My husband, daughter and myself decided to get tattoos and piercings. Walking into the Village Tattoo shop, I could tell we were in good hands. My boyfriend who I love so much finally decided to let me get my tongue pierced and took me to Village tattoo where we met Debbie or D-Bear who was super cool and very professional so literally walked me through the whole process where she made me feel calm and relaxed through the process and because of her warm, calm and professional demeanor it wasn't as bad as i thought it be and after the process she was real down to earth as me, my boyfriend and Debbie spent 20 minutes just talking and being friends. The staff was really nice, even the guy doing my tattoo. The tattoo is just a disaster and probably one of my biggest regrets. I got it sometime last week by a guy named Keith (I should've done some research but I just walked in there). He did it free hand (my second biggest regret), this being my first tattoo and having no knowledge I didn't see the problem with that. I'm already making plans & appointments to get it removed because it's that bad at least to me. And I'm afraid a cover up will only make it worse. Anyway I don't know about others but this was just my experience. I'll add a picture but the main problem are the lines are so sloppy, I can't even explain how sloppy. So, i went in last week and booked an appointment with Kim. I should have known to not book the appointment from the get go. The girl at the front took my pic back to her and she came back and said Kim would look it over and email me a sketch of what she came up with. By Tuesday I heard nothing so I called and she wasn't in. Whoever I spoke to (not sure if was same person that was in the previous saturday) said she'd leave her my number and have her call me back. Saturday on the way to the shop i get a call saying Kim couldn't do my tattoo cause I DIDN'T email her my info. I even paid a $50 deposit the day I took my pic in!! So I get to the shop and its empty, aside from the girl working the front desk. She gives me the runaround how the girl who booked my appointment is there only one day a week and got me mixed up with someone else who was already booked. Then says Kim couldn't do the tattoo based on the picture I gave her. Yet she never called OR emailed me in the entire week I was waiting. Then i get the excuse of I was supposed to email her my info when I didn't have their email info to begin with. I left all my information, phone and email with the girl at the front desk the previous week. All i heard was excuses. And not to mention Kim herself couldn't call me and when she had the other girl working the front call it wasn't until half hour prior to my appointment!! Read Less
