I have gone here 3x now. Once for a tattoo that was done by Tre and 2x now for piercings. They are always welcoming, friendly, and professional. I was made to feel extremely comfy during all occasions which is huge for me due to the piercings I was getting done. I came for the summer flash event and I just had to go to the doctor and both of my tattoos are infected. They're afraid I have Staph or MRSA and I now I need antibiotics. I am a tattoo veteran, I have award winning artwork on my body, I know how to care for my ink. They said that it's nothing I've done wrong, that there's no way the tattooist used clean equipment. So yesterday I go here to get a arm piece done. Rick drew up a sick tattoo. Only 5 mins into the tattoo. I passed out like a bitch and yes it gets worse I threw up really bad. Had to go home. I didn't eat right or have good rest. I was waiting to get clowned but they never did. They actual were really nice and did everything to help me feel better. I was worried rick wouldn't finish my tattoo. Well today the very next day I went back rested and well feed Rick gladly finished my tattoo and it looks awesome. I've gotten plenty of tats before no problems. So yes these guys are A+ with customer service. Rick is fast and lines are straight and smooth. I'll be back and Rick is my tattoo artist for life!!!!! I was just at the tattoo shop for the cuddles cat event they are kindly putting on for the rescue in the neighborhood. I will have to say eveyone tattooing and the receptionist were doing a great job trying to keep up with the huge amount of people coming in and supporting the cause. Like a lot of people, I visited Red Canary for the Cuddles Cat Rescue fundraiser event. Personally, my wait was just a hair over three hours. In that time, dozens of people were tattooed, and the staff were working non-stop like crazy to keep us happy (thanks for the soda!) and to keep the crowd moving through. Andrea, the piercer who was working check-in, is an absolute boss. The way check-in was working, the longest wait was to have your paperwork processed - but when your paperwork was processed, that meant you were only 6 spots or less away from being tattooed (less than a half-hour wait). The staff there was very friendly and professional. We told them what we wanted, and it turned out better than I imagined I got a small outline of a heart on my foot. So did my mom & daughter. My husband has had Rick touch up an old tattoo that he has had for years and it was amazing how he made it look!! Rick is awesome! He really cares about his customers and is skilled as an artist, you can tell he loves tattooing. He is professional yet down to earth (I've met some tattoo artists who are so full of themselves and their shop). He provided me with water and allowed a couple breaks when I tensed up during the tattoo, which was appreciated. Rick even drew up a couple alternate designs as part of the creative process which was awesome because he knows what he's doing and I ended up going with one of his script designs.The shop is clean and with a cool vibe and the pricing is reasonable.
