Highly recommend! I found Lacie at the Philadelphia tattoo convention. I was impressed by her displayed work. The style looked right in line with what I was thinking of getting. She made the decision and process easier for me, as this was my very first tattoo experience. She was thorough in discussing the location, size and design. Her touch with the needle was great, it was nowhere near as bad as I'd imagined it would feel. I was nervous that I'd be crying and unable to sit through an entire tattoo but I only felt some minor burning and pinching, at times it was more intense but didn't last long. Overall it was an entirely tolerable process. It helped to take deep breaths, just stay relaxed, and trust her technique with the needle. It took about an hour and fifteen minutes to finish. She was patient with me and made sure to get the design exactly as I asked. The colors and fine lines look elegant. She explained all the aftercare to me and said if there are any problems feel free to text for advice. Went and got a Lion with a crown on my back shoulder today and Tate absolutely killed the tatttoo. Expected the tatttoo to take about 3-4 hours and he finished it in about 2 hours. I came in today and I was a bit nervous but once I got up stairs to get ready I got more relaxed about the fact I was about to get my first tattoo ever. sam and Lacie are both very down to earth people, they got the colors that I wanted out and we got the stencil on and got ready to start. Before we started I was asking Lacie all kinds of questions about how the tattoo machine works She taught me so many new facts about tattoos. When getting the tattoo the tattoo machine didn...'t hurt only a couple times but it wasn't horrible pain it was just like how she described it "a cat scratch". I had been trying to find a new tattoo studio and heard so many great things about alone Sparrow. Those reviews weren't wrong. Sam, Lacie's secretary, was very helpful in helping me schedule an appointment. Both Sam and Lacie were very sweet and friendly. I went in for a semicolon tattoo on my wrist that took a half hour or so. I loved the work Lacie did. I had recently went in a few weeks after that tattoo for another one on my thigh that took about three hours. My mom lives on the other side of the world, and even though she tells me she loves me, her telling me in writing seemed to immortalize it. So I had My mom write out that she loved me in my language. If you're looking for a tattoo parlor with a friendly staff and talented artists, go with Lone Sparrow! I was in and out within 30 minutes for a quick consult and small chinese calligraphy tattoo. This being my second tattoo i can say i definitely had a better experience here than the other place i went to get my first tattoo.. the booking and communication process was so easy and convenient, they already knew what i wanted and how i wanted it by the time i got there. Tate did such a great job with his sketch based off my reference photo and it looked even more amazing on my skin. Really chill and comfortable studio. Maybe it's a bit over the top to give five stars, but. . . yeah.I had been looking for a new studio to go to since my other ones weren't as friendly (I had three previous tattoos). I had found Lacie, one of the two tattooers who work there, through instagram and had heard many good things about her. Her and her secretary Sam were very helpful and sweet. I had messaged Sam to set up an appointment and discuss what I wanted. A few weeks later I was getting my fourth tattoo. I will be going back for my fifth soon.The place is right off a busy street. This place is really great! Clean and professional. The staff is extremely friendly. Their talent is off the charts too. I just completed my chest piece with Tate. I had a small tattoo before and was nervous about getting my first big piece. Tate made me feel very comfortable and safe and really talked with me about what I wanted from him. I made a piercing appointment with Lacie and drove half an hour to come to her studio, only to show up and be told that she wasn't there. She had not contacted me to cancel and when I told her coworker this I was told that he "doesn't deal with her clients" and that this was between me and her. However, he was nice enough to try calling her for me and offered me a $20 piercing coupon. I contacted her immediately telling her how disappointed I was and how much she had inconvenienced me to which she responded by apologizing profusely and explained that she had had a family emergency and hadn't been able to call and cancel her appointments. I understood, so I talked it out with her and rescheduled.I went in today for my rescheduled appointment, which I again drove 30 minutes to get to, and was again told that Lacie was not there as she was in the process of moving. Once again, I had not been contacted in any way shape or form. Obviously I was upset, and when I expressed this to her coworker (a different person this time) he replied with "Yeah, I don't know, I'm not her." He said he could call her, but that that was all he could do. He then gave me her phone number and said that I could call her myself. So I did, only to get some sob story from her explaining why she wasn't there. I get it, life happens and things get in the way, but she still could've called, especially since she made a big deal about she "never does this" and how "sorry" she was the first time this happened. She offered to do the piercing for half price, but I told her that I planned on taking my business elsewhere to someone who actually cares about her customers.All in all a terrible experience, highly unprofessional on Lacie's part and her coworkers did little to nothing to accommodate me, claiming that it was not their problem. Lacie made it very obvious that she values her time above that of her customers, so I've decided to go somewhere where the piercer actually takes her job seriously and gives enough of a fuck to pick up the phone and let her customers know if they need to cancel. So very happy with my experience! Lacie let me do my consultation through IG, I live almost an hour away from the shop. I had ideas of what I wanted, lotus mandala. Of course there's tons of versions out there. She booked me with Tate. I got there we discussed what I wanted, he helped me make up my mind, 40 minutes later lol I decided. I love it! I'm seriously so happy with everything about it. I told him I wanted "mermaid colors" he def got it. It's perfectly placed on my back. The shop is nice and clean. I followed my tattoo artist (Dee Sanchez) here from another shop.  My last two tattoos were done by Dee and I could not be more pleased.  He is an excellent tattoo artist that cares a lot about the art form.  In my opinion, reviewer Josh M. should be thankful Dee didn't slap something on his body that Dee did not feel comfortable about doing.  I have a piece now from another guy that turned out good, but could be better had the guy specialized in the style I wanted.  The two pieces I got from Dee are by far my best looking pieces and the ones I get most compliments on.  Dee is knowledgeable and always gives me details into why he wants to go in the direction we are going.  I typically give my artist creative freedom with my tattoos.    I also check out Tate's work and would feel comfortable letting him tattoo me if I were into color tattoos.  Tate's portfolio seems to be one of many styles which is valuable and not as common these days with younger artists.  Lacie seems to help the guys keep things in order with appointments and overall shop management.  She is very cool and detail oriented.  She responds to my emails in a timely fashion and that is very difficult to find in this industry.  It's always nice to get that confirmation call or text before my appointment.  She also does the piercings there as well.    The shop is clean and has reading materials and things to keep you occupied during your visit or if you bring a friend.  Both artist are talented and can provide many styles of tattoo forms between the two of them.  I'll be setting up my third appointment with Dee in the next month or so and will also bring my wife so she can get a quote from him as well.  Overall great shop with two great artist, a piercer, and top notch customer service.  Check out the portfolios and give them a call for a consult.
