Beautiful shop with extremely talented artists! I have gotten three tattoos done by Frankie when Oxblood has been at either the Philly or Baltimore Tattoo Convention. He's so down to earth, fun to work with, and my go-to guy. Every time I've stopped in the shop to say "hey", I've fallen in love with it. This is by far one of the best tattoo shops I have ever been to. I live in NJ and came down with two friends to get my latest tattoo. My pug passed away and I wanted her paw print, I only trusted Chris Mead for the job. The people are so friendly and helpful and the shop is decorated with all kinds of awesome things. Went to get my cartilage pierced, he told me it would be $30 for the piercing, and another $30 for the jewlrey, which was fine, but he was very unspecific about what jewlrey costed what. He eventually managed to insult all of my other piercings and called the people who did them idiots... told me that I couldn't use what I had been using for the rest of my peircings and they would cause cancer. My total came up to $95... needless to say I will NEVER be back. Read Less

This is a high quality shop. It's beautifully decorated and has a relaxing feel. The staff are friendly and professional and very talented. I've had tattoos from 4 different places and this is the only one I'd return to now. Frankie is great! I got 2 tattoos done by him and absolutely love them both. Very professional and friendly. The studio is extremely clean which was a huge plus for me. Got a piercing done by Tye and he was also great. Very knowledgeable about natural ways to clean and manage healing as well as pain, which I loved. Russell and his team at Oxblood Ink are fantastic. The shop is very welcoming and extremely friendly. The quality of their work is second to none. I had a great experience which started with a consultation where Russell was able to put my idea onto paper. He sketched out the design and it ended up perfect. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. They have a way at Oxblood to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. By far, my best experience getting a tattoo. I get complimented almost daily on my back piece, and immediately refer anyone who asks to this shop. His eye for detail is beyond amazing and the shop is beautiful. I went to oxblood at the recommendation of my sister and I am happy to say I am not disappointed.  This is a relatively new tattoo studio but I think it's going be around for a while.  I called on a Wednesday night asking if they could do a walk in and they said yes!  So I packed up my sister and headed down there.  The shop itself is well decorated and cozier than other shops I've been to.  Located in Severna Park, kind of in a weird place, the business center behind a McDonalds.  Once I arrived they said they could take me and I needed to pick an artist.  I looked through all 3 artists books and choose Frankie.  I loved what I saw.  Everyone there but especially Frankie, was: kind, polite, respectful, and considerate.  I had him redo the stencil twice and he didn't even blink an eye about it.  I asked him to do watercolor behind my tattoo and he did an amazing job.  I didn't know what to expect because it wasn't part of the stencil but he really did a fantastic job.  I've never seen someone do water colors so well.  The price was incredibly reasonable. I have 4 tattoos and counting from artist and owner, Russell. I've gotten little jammers, memorial tattoos and one of his signature Halloween Specials. He's a great dude and not an uppity business owner like some shops in the area.What I appreciate most is the time they take to actually help you and not just slap down some ink for your money. When I wanted a memorial piece for a long time friend and artist that passed away, Russ really took the time to design a great looking piece that was still sentimental. When I got a Mermaid for his Halloween Special, there were so many little details I loved. Can't wait to be back in area and go back. Read Less
