I quickly set up an appointment through Emily.Upon arrival, Emily did an excellent job of helping me navigate through the selection for my double nose piercing and offered great input in deciding pieces that fit my aesthetic.Dan did an absolutely awesome job on my piercings. He explained the entire process from sterilizing my jewelry, the pre-piercing prep (cleaning my nose, marking the spots, etc), the actual piercings, and after care. This is more than likely the only place I'm going to come to for piercings going forward. I wish I came here for my nose piercing but I had no clue it existed until one of my friends told me about it. All five star ratings and for good reason. I called because I have a pesky nose bump where my nose piercing is. I've called several of piercing shops including the place I went to, all of them informed me "oh it will go away on its own" and hung up. Gee thanks. Fidelity was the only place that recommended coming in, making sure my piercing wasn't infected, that it was pierced at a good angle, and had several of new jewelry for me to choose from.A lot of places don't offer gold jewelry for whatever reason and not that surgical steel is bad for piercings or whatever but I personally would prefer gold. And the friends that have nose piercings recommended me only using gold. So I got white gold! (Because I love the way silver looks on me but I still wanted it to be gold to white gold duh lol) Dan (piercer) and Emma (front desk) are so nice, knowledgeable and friendly! I got my nose pierced when I was younger but had removed the jewelry and it quickly closed up. I have wanted to do it again for years, but never followed through. I mentioned it to my husband and son and both said I should do it again. Since I'm fairly new to Baltimore (2 yrs) I wasn't sure where to go, but someone at the coffee shop where my son works suggested Fidelity. So glad they did!!! They had a huge jewelry selection! I made an appointment to get a consultation on an old tattoo. I just got a good feeling about this place based on some other reviews from various sites. I got the consultation and on a whim decided to get a helix piercing. Sydney was absolutely great! She was kind, she was patient, professional, thorough and it was over in a pinch. Needless to say, it was a great experience. I went back a week later for another tattoo consult and afterwards I got a lobe piercing with Dan. The experience was equally as fabulous! I got two tattoos there. I loved my experience there. I was greeted warmly and offered water, everyone was nice, and my tattoos came out really cute. Fidelity is a wonderful body art studio. They have experts on staff for various tattoo styles, as well as a piercing specialist. My favourite point is that they are a small, woman-owned local business, with mainly female tattoo artists.My first appointment was with Ashleigh Pfarr, who is extremely talented. Whenever I see her work, I always marvel at the colours and shading. Her work resembles a painting! I came to her for a ouija planchette piece, which I originally saw on her Instagram. She freehanded a version of the sketch on me, and finished everything extremely fast! Although she worked fast, she did not skimp on details or depth. It is a truly beautiful, spooky gothic piece! I can't believe she just drew it on me free hand, then inked it on. Ashleigh, as I said, is amazing with colour. She does great with multiple genres, but her work with florals is especially beautiful. I've also had work done by Jayne Steiger, who is a budding artist. I commissioned a small, cutesy spool of thread, which she did on my shoulder blade. She is great with colour, is super sweet, and she has a lot of potential. She would be great to commission for your fandom-based or cutesy designs!If you're in the Baltimore area, I highly recommend this charming little shop. I came in this past Sunday to have my nostril redone after having it removed for many years. The jewelry selection was amazing, but the true star was Dan. He was the perfect combination of professional and hilarious, which put me at ease after not having had a new piercing in over a decade. My new nose piercing fell out, and even though I didn't have it done here Daniel joyfully came to the rescue! I didn't do my research and had my piercing done at the tattoo convention. I didn't understand the stud in my nose and it fell out. I was overjoyed that they had real gold/diamonds and were willing to sterilize it and put it in for me! This review is specifically about piercing, since that's all I had done. Dan really cares about doing a great job and making his customer happy. He's more focused on establishing a relationship with his customers than just performing a one-off service. He answered all my questions thoroughly and explained everything he was doing.   The shop has a welcoming vibe and is clean and comfortable. They have an excellent selection of jewelry and can customize items in the shop or place special orders. This place is so cute!! I went in yesterday for a high double nostril from Dan. High nostrils are a bit challenging from what I heard so I made sure I did my research and he seemed like the best. I wasn't wrong with that assumption!! Dan is incredibly nice, organized, and CLEAN. I've never seen a shop so in shape and a piercing station so sterilized. Dan walks you through every step he's doing (perfect for someone scared/nervous about their piercing or someone who has a lot of questions) and explain everything thoroughly. Their jewelry selection is huge and every piece is even more beautiful than the last. I haven't gotten a tattoo here but the tattoo stations and level of professionalism seem to match up to Dan's standard of excellence. A friend recommended Fidelity for my septum piercing and I'm so glad she did! I emailed Dan and he managed to work me into his schedule for the following afternoon. When I  walked into the shop my first impression was one of a very clean and professional tattoo shop. Ashleigh Pharr covered up my first tattoo which I got on a whim on the day I turned 18. Now I love looking at my arm with this cover up and I get so many compliments on how pretty it is, whereas on the original tattoo people told me "it doesn't look that bad". I plan on getting my arm sleeved by her. Update 1/27/17: I went in to get another tattoo by Ashleigh which turned out beautiful and to get my tongue re-pierced by Dan. I have had my tongue pierced before for about 3 years but took it out 2 years ago and wanted it redone. I had believed that the piercing had closed up because I couldn't get jewelry though it but Dan was completely honest with me and told me it was still open and inserted the jewelry and stretched the piercing out to its normal size. He only charged me for the jewelry. I so appreciate his honesty instead of pretending it was closed and charging me extra and will recommend him to anybody for their piercing and jewelry needs. I've been to Fidelity for three large tattoos by the owner, Ashleigh, and a daith piercing by Dan Chanthongtip.   J could not be more pleased with my experiences at Fidelity.  I'll start with the tattoos- all three were very meaningful, custom pieces and Ashleigh went over and above to ensure that the artwork met my expectations.  She was willing to make it a collaborative process, adjusting sizing, placement, and coloration based on my feedback so that I was a happy customer.  In all of the times I have worked with Ashleigh it has been a real pleasure.  She takes pride in her work and has real artistic talent, drawing by hand with a natural eye for color and saturation.  I would never get another tattoo done unless Ashleigh could do it!  In fact, I moved to Pennsylvania three years ago and I still make the drive to Middle River to see her. My most recent experience at Fidelity was with Dan Chanthongtip for a daith piercing.  I had done quite a bit of research on the piercing before making the appointment.  Dan was wonderful to work with, showing me the many different jewelry options and explaining the pros and cons of each.  I truly appreciated the selection of quality jewelry available at the shop with genuine gold and gemstones.  I wanted my piercing to look clean and elegant and I had many options to choose from which was refreshing.   Dan walked me through every step of the process, even explaining the need for sterile gloves, markers, etc so that I was assured of a sterile and clean piercing experience.  He did not have to take the time to explain that but I greatly appreciated it. He provided very clear after care instructions and I never felt pressured or rushed during the appointment.  I would highly recommend Dan to anyone considering body modification.  It's not worth taking a risk with an unsterile environment or sub-par quality jewelry- go see Dan!  He stands behind his work and only carries jewelry that is high quality. The staff was very friendly and the service was legit. I went to Fidelity on my birthday to get my septum pierced and didn't realize that you're suppose to make an appointment. They let me slid and saw me after about 10 minutes of waiting. The guy who did my piercing was professional and told me a bunch of information. It only hurt for a few seconds and then we were done! I work in the operating room, so I know all about sterility.  After doing a lot of research, I decided on Dan at Fidelity Tattoos to do my cartilage piercings.  I was not disappointed!  Firstly, the variety of jewelry to choose from is immense.  So many styles, sizes, and prices...it was hard to make a decision!  Dan is great at helping out and explaining everything.  He walked me through every step of the procedure and showed me all of his supplies before we got started.  His sterile technique is perfect!  He could work in an operating room any day :)  I felt very safe in such a clean, professional environment with obviously well-trained people who take such pride in their work.  I got my tragus and helix pierced today, and I'm so happy with how they turned out.  I'll definitely be going back when these heal to get a daith in the other ear.  Dan is the best! Went here about a month and half ago to get my quarter sleeve tattoo my Allisin! The shop is super clean, staff is awesome and really nice, and Allisin is an absolutely amazing artist! I got my right ear tragus done at Body Mod in Annapolis by dumpsterella.. i had sooooo many problems with it! I decided I wanted to get my other tragus done and I researched a ton of other shops around. I decided on fidelity tattoo. Best choice ever!! Dan is the BEST EVER! Dan booked me even though it was his day off (so kind of him)! when I met Dan, I told him what I wanted and also told him about my bad experience at Body Mod. He looked at my previously done tragus and knew right away why I had problems with it. He said the piercing was done really badly and was crooked. he also explained that because the piercer at body mod did such a bad job, that is why I ended up getting bumps on it and having so many issues with it. Dan talked me through the whole piercing process and was VERY clean and sterile the whole time. he did the piercing very quickly and it was a very pain free experience. he also was nice enough to swap out my other tragus piercing for new jewelry. Dan has SO MANY jewelry options to choose from! the jewelry is the highest quality and is absolutely beautiful. I was blown away by how nice and professional Dan is! I highly recommend him.
