Just got a mandala-inspired tattoo band around my arm last night as a walk-in. Eric, at the desk, was beyond helpful helping me finalize the placement of the tattoo and the tattoo choice itself! Keith was the artist and his attention to detail and the care he took on my tattoo was more than I expected! We went in on a walk in trying to get custom art based on a pendant. The shop was clean, comfortable and welcoming. They got my husband set up with Dave and I cant say enough amazing things about him. Amazing eye for detail, incredibly skilled, and wonderful to work with. Took our few suggestions and ran with them so well the tattoo looks better than the pendant we based it off of and after spending time watching him work, I cant wait to go back and see him for a piece of my own. Beyond the amazing service, the price was incredibly reasonable for a walk in. The rest of the artists in the shop also came through as its an open room and they were all friendly, professional, and a joy to work with. Called to buy a nose ring. Was told he didn't know if they sold corkscrew nose rings. I asked if he could ask someone. He said the piercer stepped out for 15 minutes. I asked if I came in to purchase if I had to wait for the piercer in order to buy jewellery. The guy annoyingly said yes. Dude didn't want to work, totally lost a potential customer. Terrible experience. A few of us went in to price out tattoos on Mother's Day. The guy at the front desk immediately seemed uninterested in us, possibly because we weren't getting "interesting" or elaborate tattoos. He promised us an appointment if we came back in an hour, because they were "too busy." We went down the street to get food and called an hour later to make sure we could come in or see if we needed to wait a little longer. The same man informed us that there were walk-ins who were now ahead of us, even though we had put our names down for an appointment before we left. When we questioned how this happened, he was rude and eventually hung up on us. We took our business elsewhere and were much happier with that service. Our tattoos may not have been exciting for them but our money was just as green. Their loss, several of us have bigger tattoos in mind in the near future and we certainly won't be taking our business to Classic Electric!! Read Less

Dave is a MUST! I was a walk-in after reading reviews. The guy at the front was beyond nice, you will instantly feel like you're in the right place. So he got me hooked up with Dave. I was getting a small tattoo this go around so it literally took minutes to do along with the set up, but Dave made it seem like i was getting a $500 tattoo (meaning i wasn't a waste of his time). Hes great to talk to while hes working on you, all around nice guy and my 10 minute tattoo came out EXACTLY how i wanted, and the price couldn't be beat. Check him out, he doesn't disappoint. Doesn't get much better! Great place, great artists and people. Everyone made you feel comfortable, no attitude at all, just genuine artists doing exceptional work. While all the crew does great work, John Rippey's portfolio hit my sweet spot. He drew up some drafts, we discussed some ideas and his final work was perfect. John made sure I was comfortable and went to work. The finished product was better then I imagined, I'm thrilled to have this for the rest of my life. Amazing talent. Lots of depth to their ability as well as breadth. Not every artist specializes in the same thing, so you get a variety of styles.
