I had a great consult with Casey a couple months ago and just had my first tattoo with her. She's a doll. She listens well, eager to please while also giving you her expert opinion and advice. At 60 I had my first tattoo after a partial mastectomy and radiation damage 9 years ago from breast cancer. I hated looking at my breast for so many years after all the damage. I finally decided to look into a tattoo and found Lisa after researching for several months. I showed her some images of what I envisioned, and a month later came in and she had designed exactly what I wanted. I was nervous but because of all the nerve damage barely felt it being done. The tattoo is beautiful. I look in the mirror now and see such a beautiful image. It has only been a week but it is life changing for me. Lisa is very friendly and I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. After meeting her for my consultation, I immediately knew I picked the right person to do this. You have privacy while she tattoos, in a clean comfortable room. She has a lot of experience with scar and mastectomy tattoos and I would highly recommend her. Love this place. It is clean. The ladies are friendly, patient and really listen. I got one tattoo here last year and returned for a consult for a second tattoo which I'll love getting in a couple of weeks. I asked the artist I had a consult with about a cover up and I absolutely appreciate her honesty in saying cover-ups weren't her specialty and told me which artist did them. She could have v easily said oh yeah I can do that and I would have a second tattoo I want happy with but she didn't. I'm looking forward to see what design Casey comes up with for my memorial piece. One word: Professionalism. I had the pleasure of having Mandi Johnson take my vision and bring it to life with her incredible skills. From the moment I stepped into their establishment, I was greeted with a comfortable, home-like atmosphere and plenty of smiles. Mandi was a fantastic listener and did all she could to make sure I not only was getting what I wanted, but also that I understood clearly every step of the process. I brought to her a vision, let her run with it, and she put it onto paper exactly as I was hoping. During the procedure, her bedside manner was calming, and she made every effort to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied from start to finish. The work I requested was non-color with shading, and she did an amazing job bringing my ideas to life. Her line-work is impeccable. The thing that blew the service out of the water was the after-care attention she gave me. This was only my second tattoo, and it was the first time I had done it with a real professional, so I wanted to make sure I was taking care of it properly. She not only gave me explicit instructions to take with me after the work was done, but also responded to my periodic e-mail questions within 24 hours. These were not one liners, but well fleshed out responses that explained everything clearly for an inexperienced receiver of tattoos. It's now three weeks after I got the work done and the end of the after-care process. The artwork looks fantastic, and I could not be happier. Mandi was great to work with on my tattoos! This was my first visit to this shop and I was very impressed. First of all this is a woman owned and staffed business and I was happy to support them. The place is built from a home and is clean and beautifully decorated. Some don't care about their surroundings. I do. Mandi met with me ahead of time for free to discuss what I wanted. When I returned the next day she was professional, on time and ready for me. Other places I've waited 20-30 mins! Mandi was able to tweak things as we went along and was very flexible! Getting the inside of my wrist done was VERY painful and Mandi was very nice as I needed breaks. I got 2 tattoos that day and they are exactly what I wanted. This is about their business practice only, as I am so frustrated that we won't be using them.  Went for a consult with my daughter.  You can't make an appointment online.  They won't take payment online or over the phone.  Went back to make an appointment and pay, and they wouldn't let me do either bc my daughter wasn't with me to sign a waiver.  I told them it's physically painful for me to drive, but she won't budge.  So either I have to drive AGAIN which hurts or go someplace else.  Seriously it's time too catch up to the online world.  SURELY you can take payment online and book an appointment over the phone, like EVERY other service business does.  Just awful.In response to the accusation that this was all MY fault: no, I did not violate your policies. We already had the consult, already planned it out with the tattoo artist, who said I could come back and make a deposit. When I tried to do that, THEN she refused to take my payment or make the follow up appointment for the tattoo itself bc my daughter was not with me.  Can I make a deposit then my daughter come back and make the appointment? No.  Can we pay over the phone and make an appointment?  No.  Then she tells me my daughter can't sign the paper until she's 18, which was not mentioned during the consultation.  My daughter wanted the tattoo on the day of her birthday, but she couldn't even make the appointment without the paper.  Your policies are frustrating.  And maybe blaming potential customers is NOT a stellar way to do business? Monica was a great artist and the tattoo looks super crisp.  The studio was warm friendly and the ladies were all pros as far as I could tell.  The wife and I will both be going back to get more work done shortly. Went with my girlfriend to have her nostril pierced. I've been tattooed and pierced in a number of different shops and I have to say that it was really nice to walk into this warm and inviting environment and be greeted by two beautiful, smiling ladies at the front desk. Danielle (Danni) was friendly and helpful and patient with all of my questions about piercings and jewelry options. Her piercing room is cozy and her approach is calm and informative. My friend even got to squeeze her super cute stuffed animal for comfort during the piercing - and her new nostril piercing is just perfect. Afterwards Danni took even more time to discuss jewelry options and will be in touch with me with pricing on some gorgeous septum rings. I went with my friend who was being tattooed by Casey. Because my friend's tattoo would not take as long as the slot she had blocked off for her, Casey agreed to do a consult with me during my friend's remaining time. I explained what I wanted and we set up an appointment. On the day of my appointment, my friend went back with me. Prior to this I'd sent Casey about 4 pictures noting things I liked and didn't like about each in hopes of giving her the best idea of what I wanted. I was not disappointed! Casey had prepared the perfect quill tattoo for me. I originally wanted it on my wrist but after seeing the design I opted for the front of my shoulder area. Perfect choice again Casey was very patient in taking my vision and bringing it to life. She was funny, calming and just overall very professional. I look forward to getting a second tattoo from her. I have gotten many compliments on my tattoo. This is my 4th but first from Casey. Came here to get some piercings done by Danni. It was the best experience I've had in a tattoo/piercing shop. Everyone, including the tattoo artists, are very welcoming. Danni pierced both conches and 2nd lobes for me. The placement of the 2nd lobes was too low for my other jewelry so I reached out via email to discuss options of healing and repiercing and she was prompt in responding and accommodating. She gives ample aftercare materials and her prices are definitely reasonable and include both jewelry and aftercare. I've ordered custom jewelry from her as well. The room she has for piercings is clean and there is space for 1 person to come in for moral support. I walked in for each of my sessions. I went to Rose Red with my two sisters to accompany them as they got their cartilage pierced by Danielle. I had previously gotten mine pierced at another shop 1.5 months ago, but was experiencing a lot of challenges with its healing (ended up going to the doctor twice to have it looked at for infection). While at the shop, Danielle offered to take a look at my ear once she finished with my sisters' piercings. 1. She noted that my starter jewelry were hoops and were likely the cause of unnecessary movement and irritation. She ended up changing them out to posts for me.2. She genuinely wanted to help me since I didn't want to take them out (as was suggested by the doctor). She could have told me I'd need to repierce the other ear, but instead offered to help me salvage this.3. She educated us on safety and aftercare-- a much more thorough overview than I had received at the other shop, who gave me a baggy of salt and sent me on my way.4. Despite discovering that the first piercer had pierced one of my holes twice (one hole in the front that led to two holes in the back), not once did she disparage this person's work. She let me know that this was probably why the third hole was much more irritated than the first two. She was incredibly professional.5. She's funny and made us feel at ease.I can't say enough good things about Danielle and our experience at Rose Red. Would highly recommend if you're considering getting any piercing, to save yourself time and trouble and go see Danielle. I will be returning here for all my future piercings. Read Less

I had significant additions made to an existing tattoo. Mandi was the artist. She is really talented. The ideas she submitted showed creativity, and her sketches revealed serious talent as an artist. The tattoo took no more than an hour, yet was beautifully done. Speed and precision don't usually go together, but Mandi is a whiz. My older brother came with me (as a chauffeur and due to some mild brotherly protective instincts) and Casey chatted with the both of us for the extent of the time it took. I've gone 9 years since getting my last tattoo (which was my first tattoo as well) because I had an artist who wasn't very pleasant about making changes to his drawings and I was scared off. I went to Rose Red and had a consultation with Mandi and was immediately comfortable with her.  She didn't mind my emailing her my ideas and she was totally fine with subtle changes I made to the design the day of my appointment. My friend and I knew that we wanted matching tattoos to commemorate our time together in Scotland but we weren't really sure where to start. When we saw Casey Hart's work on instagram we immediately agreed that she was the one for the job. Rose Red Tattoo provides a wonderfully welcoming environment that does its utmost to make guests feel comfortable (which helps a lot for those getting their first ink). Casey was wonderful and immediately put my friend and I at ease with her bubbly personality.
