Let me start by saying their actual work was decent but not what I had asked for. I wanted a tattoo of a mandala surrounded by realistic foliage. I had emailed a drawing of what I wanted and they told me that they would have to clean up the mandala. I was okay with that because I knew the mandala was too dark and detailed for a tattoo. Upon walking into the shop I was not greeted by Ryan or J. I awkwardly waited near the front until I realized they didn't plan to greet me at all. J had already drawn up the stencil and asked me if that's the size I wanted. I should have looked closer because while the stencil looked similar to what I sent them the foliage was changed to the same traditional flower over and over. I was never given a quote for the cost.  I told J this was my first tattoo and I was really nervous and in response he pointed towards the front of the store and said go sign a waiver. That was our entire conversation before he started. I was new to the tattoo world so I didn't know what to expect and he was so cold and unwelcoming I wasn't comfortable pushing because he already seemed annoyed by me. Once completed I receive zero aftercare instruction. They seem to have a specific traditional style at this shop and if you want anything outside of that they will not do what you want. I have had two other friends with similar experiences. I regretted going there the second I walked out. I am currently waiting for my tattoo to heal with the hope another artist will be able to fix it. It's my fault for not being assertive but it's their fault for a severe lack of communication.
