Don't go here. My boyfriend got work here, TOTALLY over priced him, the lines are sloppy and too thick, and the color looked washed out and sloppy. My experience at Positive Image Tattoos & Piercings was nothing less than amazing today! Jenn, did a excellent job in taking care of a septum piercing that didn't go so well at another shop earlier this week. She was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. She recommended to me the proper sized gauge that I needed for work purposes and also gave me better insight on the cleaning/healing process. Went in on Thursday, 05/01 and got an upper cartilage/helix and a tragus done. Jenn was amazing, talked and joked while she worked, and made it a super fun time. Jason is the guy your looking for he did most of my ink and I never want other artist to work on me again. Nothing short of amazing. The front desk was nice, my artist was very nice (and talented/experienced), the place is clean and comfortable. Prices are very fair. Parking is not a problem. Got my first tattoo here and I would HIGHLY recommend and I will be going back again. I just recently was reffered to Positive Image by a friend who has been getting tattooed at the shop for about four years. After coming into the shop, Troy drew up a custom tattoo design that reflected perfectly with the description I had given him. With a lobby full of potential clients looking at portfolio's, the staff maintained order and personally spoke with each person intently and purposfully to ensure the needs of each costomer was met.During the duration of the two hour session i had on my arm, I couldn't have been more comfortable. With the clean lobby and stations, family-like environment and tv placed in each room (with whichever channel I chose to have on), the session flew by and I was pumped with the end result of my tattoo. What an amazing place! I was looking through Urban Ink Magazine and came across Positive Image Tattoos. When I saw them in the magazine and realized they were located right here in Baltimore, I had to go and check them out. When I walked in I felt comfortable right away. They treated me like a person not just a client. They offered me a drink while they custom designed my tattoo. In other tattoo shops I have been in they have been rude and acted like I needed to hurry and I was wasting their time. When my tattoo was finished it looked amazing! Positive Image is the only place I will go for any of my tattoos for the rest of my days! I got my very first tattoo back in May and was referred by a coworker. I made an appointment with the owner named Eric who the coworker also recommended. We were the last clients there for the night and it was boyfriend and myself both getting some pretty time consuming tattoos but he was not worried about time at all. It took alittle time to draw up both of our tattoos but I loved how I showed him a picture of what I wanted and offered to switch it up alittle so it wouldn't be the same exact thing, I was perfectly fine with that. When he put the sketch on my shoulder it was alittle bigger then planned but i LOVED it and it was very detailed. After I was finished my tattoo he started on my boyfriends and we stepped out to get a bite to eat, when we got back and it was closing time for them they still had the doors unlocked which I was very surprised about because of the area they are in. I really didn't feel scared though while I was in the shop because it seemed like they were very well known in those parts. This was my first tattoo and I enjoyed the atmosphere. There is parking along the side of the building But upon entering the facility I was greeted well and enjoyed the professional artists and since I went with a group of my girlfriends I was in the room with one of my friends to be there for her and she did the same for me. The staff here was EXTREMELY helpful, from the girls at the front desk, to the actual artists. Made us feel totally comfortable, joked around with us, but were very clear about having our best interests in mind in terms of the actual art. They draw up their tats no matter what you bring in, and they did exactly what I wanted. They close at 10 but people were still coming in at 10 to get theirs done and they were still being taken.
