The guys here are amazing, Chris is awesome and really knows his art. Austin did my tattoo, took a lot of time asking for pictures and info and my input on what I was thinking when he was drawing up my family crest. It was two sessions and Austin was great , worked with my schedule and it healed so fast and his line work and just attention to not only detail but perfection is amazing . I suggest this shop to anyone looking for real tattoo artists.

Layer 3 Collective is a really cool concept- an art gallery with pieces from local artists and a tattoo shop that produces amazing work. Often times part of local Art events in Fells Point, the rotating art provides reason to go by multiple times. As well as those who get tattoos there (like myself) will certainly be back for more. Amazingly high quality work in a friendly and non-intimidating environment, it's easy to stop by for art and also ask questions about potential tattoos.

Only place I get my tattoos at, clothing is most definitely cool too, friendly comfortable place easy to chill for multiple hours, also good sunglasses selection.

Chris has a talent that surpasses artists that have been in the same industry for years. Would not trust anyone else. I recommend him to everyone whom asks me about the work he has done for me. He's young but has an old soul. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

The guys here are amazing, Chris is awesome and really knows his art. Austin did my tattoo, took a lot of time asking for pictures and info and my input on what I was thinking when he was drawing up my family crest. It was two sessions and Austin was great , worked with my schedule and it healed so fast and his line work and just attention to not only detail but perfection is amazing .
