I liked the shop, it was clean and nice. However, my experience wasn’t great. Brady wasn’t exactly rude, but he was not nice at all. He seemed like he didn’t even want to do my tattoo. Spent over $100 for a tattoo that took 15 minutes. I felt rushed in putting the stencil on and he basically told me there was no good location when I was asking him for his artist/professional suggestion. Pretty much ruined my experience. Great place and a great atmosphere. My tattoo artist was Brady. He has done both of my tattoos. A biomechanical 3/4 sleeve and a pirate ship on my calf. I could not be happier with the way both of them turned out. I'm definitely going back to him for all my future tattoos. I would highly recommend Orange Tattoo! Read Less

I went to Brady for a fairly large forearm piece in December 2014 and the color is just as vibrant now as it was then. I went back today for a much smaller wrist piece and was blown away by his precision. His line work is off the hook. Not to mention, he makes the experience of tiny needles jabbing you for an hour or so pretty pleasant. An awesome guy all around. Read Less

He has been my artist for the last 13 years but he has been tattooing at Orange Tattoo company for the past 8-10 years I can't quite recall , anyhow this is not your stereotypical tattoo shop! The guys here are very professional , pleasant and talented ! It's clean very open and airy ! Brady Duncan I trust this man with my skin 110 percent ! I neve question his skills! I may come with an idea he will tell me what's best for my skin, being as though he is the artist he knows what goes well with my dark brown skin ! Brady is absolutely amazing. Two things to compliment Brady on:First, his personality. He is so cool and kind. I have never once felt uncomfortable during a long session. He is out going and extremely professional. He has always encouraged my ideas and makes me feel welcomed every time I walk in the shop. Secondly, his talent. My husband and I came in to get 3 tattoos done yesterday with Carl. It was my first time, and after really getting upset and nervous about getting it done, Carl walked me through the whole process and calmed me down. All artists are incredible at Orange. My family and I received a traditional Japanese gourd matching tattoo from Brady and we are all very proud to wear it. Customer service is great, the artists are all accommodating. ***To anyone who is angry about being refused a tattoo*** ultimately, it is the artist's choice to tattoo you. If that artist believes your idea to be incompetent or not worth the time, thank that artist because you most likely chose the idea off Pinterest or google images, which means you really are not worth any artist's time. Very clean shop!  Was able to take me as a walk-in when they opened up on a Sunday.  Joweone took my idea and helped me to make the decision on a great tattoo.  I had my mind set on one design, but it didn't make sense for a tattoo.  He did not make me feel stupid or like I was an inconvenience.  I will definitely be getting my next tattoo here and hopefully will have the privilege of having Joweone as my artist. I got my first tattoo with Carl. The shop is very clean as are the artists and equipment. Carl's awesome - very professional and easy to talk to. The process was quite easy considering I was a walk-in; although there were a couple people already there, my whole experience took about two hours (waiting for the sketch and tattooing). I read a lot about tattoos before I got my first one, and Carl seems to have a gentle hand because my tattoo has completed the scabbing stage and it's completely smooth! Prices are reasonable, I went to one other place as a walk-in but they were completely booked and I wanted my tattoo that day, but the quote between these two places was comparable. Read Less

I got my tattoo with Joe (Joe-One?) in December and loved it. As with all of my tattoos I came in with a couple pictures of designs or ideas I want. I walked in close to closing time so there wasn't time for the tattoo, but he had an opening that worked for me 2 days later; he even had his own drawing based on my ideas in that short amount of time! Everything was clean and comfortable. He was gentle but I think I also got it in a less painful place (arm) than some of my other tattoos.  The price was right for the quality of the tattoo and it still looks great 6 or 7 months later. I only like it more as time goes on. I recently stopped by to bounce a couple ideas off of Joe for another tattoo. The idea i had wasn't going to look good in a few years as the lines bled, unless we did it bigger, and I'm glad that Joe was honest with me in how it'll look down the road rather than trying to make a quick buck. While I could've insisted that he do it small, you need to trust your artist to do what they do best- designing and tattooing tats that look great and last. I would recommend him for tattoo veterans and first timers alike. Read Less

Love it here, this was my first visit, but definitely not my first tattoo! I have been to 6 tattoo shops this being my 7th and this one is above all one of the best. The environment it extremely professional and welcoming. They made me feel like I was a regular! I had an unfinished piece on my leg and Walt took me right back and finished it up beautifully. The price was extremely reasonable and well worth it, we even talkedabout future work and how to improved current ones. My sister and I went to get our first tattoos here and had heard good things about the shop from other people, so we were anxious and excited to see if those claims were true.  We discussed our ideas with Walt, who was quick to criticize both of us on several aspects of the tattoos we wanted.  He was very judgmental, and not forgiving about the lack of knowledge we had about tattoos.  I had drawn up a sketch of the general look of the tattoo I wanted, and he repeatedly told me that the styles of the different parts of it didn't match, even though I repeatedly told him I only drew it to get the idea of the tattoo on paper.  When we came back to get the actual tattoos, Walt was over 30 minutes late for our appointments because he took a walk-in before us.  He did my sister's first, which turned out great, and then did mine.  Both sketches looked okay, but it was easy to tell that he had done them that same day as soon as he got in, instead of when the ideas we spoke about were fresh.  There were a few stray wobbly lines in the sketch up of mine, but I mistakenly thought they were from pixelation and that he would smooth them out for the actual tattoo.  Nope.  He literally tattooed quite a few pixelated lines onto my skin.  The lines are in a dreamcatcher-like pattern, so it's extremely noticeable.  Also, as I was getting tattooed, I heard him say "oops".  If it was a joke, it wasn't funny.There are quite a few bad lines in the tattoo itself, which I will post a picture of.  The price I paid for the tattoo was not worth the experience, and I wasn't asked to tip so I can only assume that they took the tip out themselves.   I would not recommend getting tattooed by Walt, but it seems that other people have had better experiences with other artists. I always recommend Orange to everyone who asks me about my tattoos - I've dealt with a few artists there, when my favorite left - he was replaced with someone very talented and I've been dealing with him since. My husband's hobby is collecting tattoos and since moving to Annapolis, he wanted to add to his legs with a piece from Brady Duncan. He requested anything that would fit with the look of his other pieces and ended up getting one of his nicest works so far. Met a girl who had a tat from Orange so I stumbled in one day. Looked through the artwork books and thought that Eric would do the best with the tat that I wanted. I had to wait 5 weeks for his availability but it was TOTALLY worth the wait!! Eric is an awesome guy and does freegin great work! I'll go back to him for any other tats that I want. Wow, super nice, great service amazing tattoos!  I got a cover up done and I love it!!  They were super professional and super kind.  I would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone.  They were also super family friendly and told me my toddlers could come watch.  They sell sodas and drinks as well so you don't have to go thirsty while you are getting hours of work done. Everybody at the shop is an amazing artist. I only have two tattoos but they were both done here, each by a different artist. I had intended on going to the same guy (Wes), but it turns out he moved to a tattoo shop closer to his home which is reasonable and they had nothing but nice things to say about him. My first tattoo turned out awesome and it took almost no time at all. My second tattoo was done by Chris. I only had a vague idea of where I wanted it, and he helped me perfect it and I am so happy with it. Both artists were so nice and easy to talk to, I held conversations with them while I was getting tattooed to ignore the pain. The shop is always sparkling clean. I definitely plan on returning. I came here because I followed one of the artists, Brady Duncan, from his former place of employment in Baltimore. I figured, once you have found someone that does good work, why risk it. He once again did an amazing job. While waiting for him to draw me up, I noticed all these celebrities on the wall, with personalized notes to the owner. The owner, whose name I forget, is the guy that tattooed the famous cross on  Justin Timberlake's shoulder and the fairy on Britney Spears' lower back. Those were just a couple of famous people he tattooed. And knowing how good he was, and the fact that he hired Brady, I know this guy has high standards for his shop and I would recommend any artist there. Read Less
