I was referred to them for their "fantastic artists" by a friend. I sent a picture of my grandfather from the 60s and they said they couldn't do it because it wasn't clear enough. You could see facial features and was in good shape for the age and time. They said no. after trying to brighten up the picture via editing I decided to try again and send the picture to them through email, days pass and I am just ignored. I've been going to Man Hands Dan Kelley for quite some time now. It must be almost a year, if not longer. He does amazing work! I've had him do some cover ups/touch ups/redos of other tattoos I had from other artists and they've all come out 10 times better. We just started working on tattoos that don't include cover ups and I'm still completely happy with his work. He's very flexible and tries to give the customer exactly what they are looking for. My only negative comment about Dan is he's always so damn booked! But that speaks to the kind of work Dan continuously pumps out at Venom Ink. 5 stars man, keep up the awesome work! Read Less

I just finished up my first tattoo with Dan Kelley and I could not be happier with his work. A few weeks before my appointment I emailed him with a few reference photos, a rough sketch of what I wanted, and a short story of a description for him to work with. I've used two artists at this shop and they were both amazing. Matt redid a very mediocre back/shoulder piece that I got done at other shop. It looks 100 times better! Yesterday I got a portrait of my dog done by Chad. Holy crap it came out amazing!Every person I encountered was very nice and easy going. Just had my fourth tattoo done, first time at Venom Ink. My artist was Dan "Man Hands" Kelley and there are not enough positive things to say about my experience. It is absolutely clear through looking at his past work, and in his methods when working with me from start to finish, that Dan is a master of his craft. Seeing someone who loves their job is always fantastic, but when they are also exceptional at what they do, you know you're in good hands. He laid out a very fair price right up front, made sure I had eaten and would let him know if I started feeling any ill effects, double checked I was satisfied with the stencil and placement before and after application, and gave me more detailed advice on how to properly care for the tattoo in the healing phase than any other artist I've ever been to. Thorough from start to finish, impressive collection of work, and a good guy to boot. Ive already signed up for my next tattoo and Dan is the only one I'm going to let handle my large project pieces.
