I'm giving Almost Famous two stars rather than one because the actual tattoo I received by Roman was very well done. I went with a friend to get rib tattoos, which is generally an intimate place given that we basically had to take our shirts off and try to cover our breasts in order to receive our tattoos. This also meant we couldn't see what was being tattooed on our bodies. Floyd and Roman's behavior while we were being tattooed was incredibly inappropriate and uncomfortable. Constant jokes about how penises were actually being tattooed on us (again we couldn't see what he was doing until we got up for breaks), flirting, and sexual jokes were made the entire time. In the past we had gone and had a really positive experience and maybe because of that they felt too comfortable but we will not be coming again. I wouldn't recommend Almost Famous to any young woman, the locker room talk is uncomfortable and there's little consideration for the intimacy of tattooing. I've been to a number of tattoo shops and the vibe is always professional and considerate, not at Almost Famous. Very disappointed.

I’m totally amazed at the results of my time spent in the chair with Mr Floyd. I so wish that I could upload pics of what my tattoo(s) looked like before and what it looks like now that they’ve all been integrated into one big piece. I also found the rest of the Almost Famous staff to be incredibly friendly and generally fun to be around for long stretches of time. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and talented. Now whenever the subject of ink and piercings comes up, I tell people that they can’t go wrong with Almost Famous. Thanks so much again, everyone! You’re the best and I hope to be seeing you again really soon.

Walked in to take a look at the jewelry. The store is in a small strip plaza on the end with plenty of parking. Inside is very well lit with a lot of natural light flowing. I was greeted by a friendly guy that looked like he might have been working on a tattoo. The open floor plan is welcoming & clean so I can see most the happenings. I noticed that the partially opened room behind the jewelry case was where the piercings happened. I saw a piece of jewelry I liked right away! The selection is nice and sufficient. The piercer approved my selection & let me know that she would be able to change it for me for no additional charge!Missy was very knowledgeable & gave me great, thorough service plus really useful advice. Her hand was steady & I felt comfortable. She gave me her card & let me know of the location in Portland too.

Came in yesterday with my daughter & her friend to get our ear lobes pierced. I've had bad experiences in the past at the mall & her friend had one as well. This was my daughter's first time. Missy was top notch. She had an awesome personality, she knew how to calm our fears & completely put us at ease! She talked with us the entire time & explained everything. The pain was much, much less than any of us anticipated. The shop is extremely clean. Everyone was super friendly & helpful. The atmosphere was awesome. The girls had a blast being in a tattoo shop to get their ears done. I highly recommended needle piercing vs gun piercing.

So, I have traveled a lot in my 30 years in the military and I have seen the good ones and the bad ones and "Almost Famous" is at the top. I drive by every day so I thought I would stop in and see what it was like and the first thing that hit me was it was clean. Very Clean and smelled clean. I met the staff they were all friendly and hard working and I met the artist who did my Tattoo, we clicked he was with me on my thoughts on what I wanted and he hit it out of the park. They are very Military Friendly so if your in the military let them know. I stop in every so often to say hi and they like that like an old friend is visiting. If your in the market for some ink, definitely stop in and chat with them they will win you over.

The process was quick and they made me feel very comfortable, like I was at home. Very clean and professional business. I will return again and again.

They're hardworking, diligent, skilled artists who'll take extra care of you. I got the second holes of ear pierced for free and a new belly ring for $5. My friend got a good sized tat by Roman and his line work was flawless!! �

I'm giving Almost Famous two stars rather than one because the actual tattoo I received by Roman was very well done. I went with a friend to get rib tattoos, which is generally an intimate place given that we basically had to take our shirts off and try to cover our breasts in order to receive our tattoos. This also meant we couldn't see what was being tattooed on our bodies. Floyd and Roman's behavior while we were being tattooed was incredibly inappropriate and uncomfortable. So, I have traveled a lot in my 30 years in the military and I have seen the good ones and the bad ones and "Almost Famous" is at the top. I drive by every day so I thought I would stop in and see what it was like and the first thing that hit me was it was clean. Very Clean and smelled clean. I met the staff they were all friendly and hard working and I met the artist who did my Tattoo, we clicked he was with me on my thoughts on what I wanted and he hit it out of the park. They are very Military Friendly so if your in the military let them know. I stop in every so often to say hi and they like that like an old friend is visiting. If your in the market for some ink, definitely stop in and chat with them they will win you over.
