My sister in law is from shreveport and told me to get my diath piercing done here. I was hesitant bc many told me this piercing often gets infected but when you have headaches you will chance getting...
My sister in law is from shreveport and told me to get my diath piercing done here. I was hesitant bc many told me this piercing often gets infected but when you have headaches you will chance getting a temporary ear infection.... so I did-- they gave me instructions, I followed them and I (knock on wood) have had no problem with it. (FYI I'm not going to lie it hurt a bit during and a lot after... it took like 4 months to really heal.)

I've been to this place before. Got my first ink here and a piercing. However, today.....the whole vibe was off. I don't even know the dudes name......because he didn't introduce himself but wanted five thousands dollars (slight exaggeration but not by much) for a damn semi colon tattoo. No thank you sir.....if i could put lower than a star I would......

Lance was very patient with me when deciding on the exact font I wanted for my tattoo. He did a few drawings until I was totally satisfied. This was my first tattoo and he came highly recommended. We drove from Dallas just to see him and he did not disappoint. I'd go back again to get my next one. The shop was very clean and the guys are laid back and very knowledgeable about their craft. Thanks, Lance!

I went there to get my first tattoo and was very nervous about the whole thing. The workers and artist were able to keep me calm and help me get through the process. So happy i made the decision to go...
I went there to get my first tattoo and was very nervous about the whole thing. The workers and artist were able to keep me calm and help me get through the process. So happy i made the decision to go to Skinworks! They even said if I ever need a touch up to just come back and they will do it for free. Thanks guys!

As to what the first poster said, If they are busy you may not get greeted the minute you walk through the door, because they are busy! I sure don't want my tattoo artist stopping every few minutes to...
As to what the first poster said, If they are busy you may not get greeted the minute you walk through the door, because they are busy! I sure don't want my tattoo artist stopping every few minutes to greet everyone that walks through the door! I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Skinworks. Go see Shane, he is the best in town! I have over 20 tattoos and he has done all of my work. Wouldn't trust anyone else!

Always have had a great experience at Skinworks. I have only used Gus so I can't speak for the other artists but people are always welcoming and willing to answer questions. My last one was a challe...
Always have had a great experience at Skinworks. I have only used Gus so I can't speak for the other artists but people are always welcoming and willing to answer questions. My last one was a challenge but Gus came through with no problem! Convenient location, open late on Sat., plenty of artists on staff and reasonable rates.
