The guy, Joe, that we made an appointment with has the worst personality. When we told him we had two others with us who wanted a tatto, he agreed to do it but then made us wait over an hour, skipped us to take another walk-in, and then ignored us and acted as if he had never seen us. Great shop doing great tattoos all day long. They are pretty busy, so you may need an appointment in advance for longer, fancier tattoos. I just wanted a quick souvenir. I was visiting for Wrestlemania and Joey Greco, not the host of Cheaters, worked with me on a great design. This place was one of the highlights from my trip to New Orleans. My 25th birthday and i wanted it to be the best celebration ever. And this trip was definitely one for the books so why not be a little cliche and get a tattoo to remember it forever!! Me and my best friend wanted matching tattoos for the longest and we could never think of what we wanted. But then in New Orleans we both figured it out! On our bus tour this tattoo spot caught our eye and what would be better than getting a tattoo on a trip celebrating freedom and fun!What else to get in New Orleans then a fleur de Lis! Two hours later, we walked back to the tattoo shop. They said they weren’t doing any more tattoos for the night and that Kenny had just left. Clearly they are unprofessional. Giving it two stars because their tattoos are amazing, came here a couple years back, sadly it seemed they were NOT happy to see me. I came in for a consult to see if i could get a specific tattoo done. Some back story- I'm an extremely shy, nervous person with horrible anxiety. so while talking about the tattoo, i stutter and take time to speak. the man was NOT having it, he told me to "stop that" (sometimes i say "like" too often because it's hard to form words in my head). it was "annoying" him. he was getting aggravated with my speech (my nerves kicked in ten fold by this point). i had to stop talking and leave because this man was judging me hard core. never felt so unwanted in an area before. usually people are patient and helpful when they see me struggling, but this time, it was not the case. i'm looking to get another tattoo and would love to come here again, but my nerves kick in and prevent me from even going in. So my best friend and I have been wanting matching tattoos for over ten years but never had the opportunity to do it until our fist trip to NOLA. After getting a ridiculously high quote from The Electric Lady and finding two other parlors closed when they claimed to be opened, we literally stumbled upon this shop. From the locals hanging around the shop, to the honest "we might be open, we might not" store times, this shop had a down to earth, honest and no bullshit atmosphere.
