My experience was very good! Very clean, very relaxing! This is the only place I will get tattoos! By: CLAYTON! No one else (that’s who did my first and I know he can do them well and I’m comfortable letting him ink my body) He did my first tattoo, and I plan to go back! He talked me all the way through my tat, and was very nice and helpful! I love this place! My wait wasn’t long at all! Just enough time for them to do the paper work maybe 10/15 mins. I went for a tounge piercing and was a bit nervous despite having other piercings. But the guy who pierced my tongue was incredibly gentle and very nice. Quick and smooth would be the best way to describe it. When it comes to a piercing I would definitely come back. Read Less

I've gone here twice now, the first time I went (Memorial Day this year) in I got my septum pierced. The guy was super upfront about anything and everything with it. Saying that he wasn't sure that it'd turn out good with me having a slightly deviated septum etc. but it turned out great and he made the experience great. And the second time I went in was yesterday, I got two tattoos done by Cal and I couldn't be more amazed. My tattoo looked nothing like I wanted it to. It was supposed to be an infinity symbol with faith on one side and three birds on the other side. It ended up looking like a broken star because he said he had to cut out a bird to make it fit. Read Less

Went in to have a 2nd piercing for my earlobe. Terrible customer service. They made fun of me and my friend the entire time and talked to us like we were stupid. I'm sorry but when I go into a place of business I want to feel welcomed, not judged. I've had tattoos done here before but never again will I go back to a place that treats people like that. Atmosphere was good. Everyone was very friendly. I already have a couple of piercings, but from a different place. Here, I got a tragus piercing on a Friday night. The pain and swelling never subsided. I called them and with me being hours away there was nothing to do besides remove it myself. So I went to my piercer. The guy from ski works pierced at the most difficult angle, and used an L-shaped nose stud for the jewelry. I had to get this jewelry removed and a bigger gauge stud put in. Had to put more money out due to original piercing not done properly. When I told my usual piercer where it was done, he said I obviously had not done my research. I won't be coming back here again. I went on March 13th for the Daith piercings. Matt did the piercings and did a great job, talked through it all plus walked me through step by step of what he was doing. He was awesome! The people that work there are not friendly. Idk if they thought that I was in there just to waste their time but they treated me and my friend like we're dumb. I don't appreciate being disrespected. This was not the first time this has happened there but I promise you it will be the last. If you must go to a skin works I definitely recommend the one on kings street. I went to skin work to get a piercing no one wanted to help. No one asked if we needed help. All of the people were in there own little world. If you want a tattoo or piercing i would not go to skin works in Bossier City. Read Less
