Lauren Purkey is AMAZING!!! I had to wait a bit, but I expected a wait because I was a walk in. Lauren nailed my custom tattoo on the head...perfectly and without a flinch! She even arranged to complete a touch up on an existing tattoo that other tattooists have told me they couldn't do anything with. I hope Lauren stays put...I am one of those who is willing to drive for service, but I'd rather her be close by. Once I find a jewel like her, I like to stick with the same person. On the side, she also has some beautiful artworks! My daughter, also an artist, clicked with Lauren almost immediately! Pens and Needles has my business, and we will stay with Lauren wherever she goes as we are able. Fabulous experience and all around professional personnel. A+++++

I’ve heard so many good things about this shop, so I decided to stop by for a consultation. While the hours state 10am-10pm, I tried stopping by twice in the last two weeks on my way home from work around 8:45pm and they were closed both times, with no sign on the door for explanation. I ended up going to another shop today and not only were they open but they have an appointment scheduled this weekend for me already - I hope Pens and Needles’ work outshines their availability!

Jlynn is an amazing artist. He exceeded all my expectations last night. Highly recommend him for anyone who wants a new piece of art. His artistic skills are mind blowing. He's a beast with the needle!! I can't say more great things about how pleased and stoked about his work. Will definitely be back!!

Loved the ambiance of the shop! Clean place, dope artists. Marcus did a very realistic, classic car tattoo for me and I still find myself staring at it to this day. He was just as excited to do the piece as I was to receive it, which made the whole experience so much more awesome. I highly recommend pens and needles. It was cool that through the duration of my tattoo other artists, and customers, came in to see the progress and they had nothing but great things to say! I'd definitely return for another tattoo, or 5.

Loved the ambiance of the shop! Clean place, dope artists. Marcus did a very realistic, classic car tattoo for me and I still find myself staring at it to this day. Hit up Curt when you're there and he'll make you feel totally welcome and hook you up with some solid ink. Best shop in Shreveport Bossier!

If you go to this shop, talk to Curt Nesbit. He did some trash polka work on me that I get comments on every day here in Virginia. Comments like: "Wow. That's vivid color and an awesome tattoo. How did he work that in between all of that intricate work? Great tat man." I've had a lot of my art done at this shop and recommend it highly. Between Curt and Cory, you won't get a bullcrap recommendation either. They'll tell you straight and get you to the right artist for your tat. Oh. And they make the process fun too. Very engaging, very intelligent... great atmosphere. Beautiful shop too. Just like their tattoos.

Lauren Purkey is AMAZING!!! I had to wait a bit, but I expected a wait because I was a walk in. Lauren nailed my custom tattoo on the head...perfectly and without a flinch! I’ve heard so many good things about this shop, so I decided to stop by for a consultation. While the hours state 10am-10pm, I tried stopping by twice in the last two weeks on my way home from work around 8:45pm and they were closed both times, with no sign on the door for explanation.
