I had a tattoo that needed to be covered. When I talked with Jordan about doing it he told me he could do it and he came through true to his word. The new tattoo is beautiful with very bright colors and clear lines. I could not be more pleased. After searching for a trusty tattoo shop since moving to Baton Rouge from New Orleans, my quest has landed me here. The Walk In Warrior can be a second home to most of the regulars. The shop is set up with an open floor plan and you can see all of the stations upon entering. When entering you can view the artists books and you are more than likely to be greeted by a friendly face. Jordan Lutz, the owner of the Walk In Warrior has a kind and goofy demeanor and has work that is out of this world. He has a great imagination and can come up with one of a kind ideas for you on the spot. Christy, the other artist is what I would call colorful. She is the Lisa Frank of tattooing. Besides the two artists, there are three apprentices. They work day in and day out, and will offer to do your tattoos if and when the artists have other clients. They call it the Walk In Warrior for a reason, on weekdays I wouldn't see it being a problem to be tattooed without an appointment, depending on the design. The shop is clean and welcoming. This is a small, rinky-dink, unsanitary shop. Their prices are out of this world for mediocre work. They expect to charge top dollar for bottom tier work. The staff is rude and not very helpful. I went and sat there for an hour and never talked to an artist. I talked to some assistant who acted as a middle man between me and the artist which was unusual. Typically you talk to the artist about the work they're going to be doing but this wasn't the case. The whole scene was sketchy and I doubt I will be returning to this dirty place. Read Less

Do not go here for a piercing. I had my first piercing here and it was completely botched. If only I would've known better. One of the men pierced my belly button for me and it was horrendous. Pieced me with a 16 gauge (when it should've been a 14) in the wrong place! Completely too close to my belly button and didn't even use a belly ring. I can't fit an normal sized ring in it because it is so close so all the rings are too long. Something I didn't realize until after I had finished healing and was ready for new jewelry. The man also gave me improper after-care instructions saying it was the fastest healing piercing and that it would only take a month (really take 6-a year). Do not go here! I absolutely love this place. I came in tonight to get my daith pierced and right when I walked in I love the welcome you get from everyone. The lady with the black hair is so sweet I adore her. See her everytime I come. Jordan is just an all around awesome guy & amazing tattooer. & the piercer was definitely awesome! I was so scared to get it but he definitely helped make it easier. I can't say enough good things about this place ! I've been to several other tattoo shops and none of them even compare ! Jordan does a flawless job tattooing, is super welcoming & personable to top it off. He takes what you want and makes it unique to you, which I loved. I was a little worried that the piece I wanted, there was no way to make it look unique or different, but he exceeded my expectations. His work is absolutely beautiful and I'm so happy with the results. The healing process was a breeze as well.. no discoloration anywhere or scar tissue. This is THE BEST tattoo shop ever!! The staff was really nice and supportive. The staff also worked with you, gave you breaks and chilled with you. The shop was very clean. They use new individual wrapped needles every time and throughout the tattooing process they clean their tattoo guns to make sure your tattoos are clean lines and great color. My roommate and I went in here and got piercings. My roommate got a Medusa which was completely pierced wrong. He pierced through her lip and you could see the bottom of the piercing with her mouth at rest, smiling, etc.  She went back to the guy only to have him tell her that it was swollen and would be fine in a coulple days. My piercing was under my tongue, not as bad.. however, it ended up falling out later that night. We went to Black torch after the visit back to Warriers for reassurance. The piercer at black torch informed us that the piercing was completely off and had to take her piercing out and completely redo it. Aside for the botched piercing job, Walk-in Warriers seems to be completely unsanitary. The actual piercing rings that were used were not autoclaved, and I'm almost positive the guy did not even use alcohol to clean them. He used the same marker on my roommates face that he used inside my mouth. Over all, our visit here really wasn't as expected. I would not recommend this place for piercings. Read Less

So i got plenty of tattoos by Jeremy at Atomic on lee, driving by the other night i see the open sign on i pull in to call and see if he is in...when i ask for jeremy i get a rude response about how this is no longer atomic. Which i found a bit odd becuase the number is the exact same and there is 2 giant signs that say otherwise and a street sign with the same number...clearly no longer a professional shop! Very good tattoo artist. Everything he uses on you is new. No sanitation issues. Jordan makes u feel very comfortable while he is drawing on u with a needle for a couple hours. :-) cool place everything u want out of tattoo parlor. Will be returning to get more work done. Read Less
