I actually haven’t been here in a while but I will be! I’ve had 4 piercings done here and each and every time the piercer is super clean and friendly. Art Attack Tattoo in Richmond may do great, clean piercing but the guy who does the piercings was rude and doesn't know how to talk to children. He told my 14 year old to Fing deal with it when he wouldn't let her come into the room to watch her sister get her belly button pierce. I had to explain to him who they were and who I was. Then he changed his tune. He dropped the F bomb several time. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. Read Less

I went with my sister to Art Attack to get her first tattoo. It was my first time in a tattoo shop. Totally a 5 star environment and staff. She called for an appt. And was able to get in the same day. They got new needles out and gave clear instructions on aftercare. And the piece she drew turned out perfect, thanks to Marion. (Who is very kind by the way.) I had taken my tongue ring out for about four years and thought I was going to have to get it redone but instead he worked some major magic and got my tongue ring back in with out have to redo it! I have a belly button phobia but have always wanted it pierced. A friend told me about Art Attack and how she had gotten an ear piercing from them. She wanted another so we went together a few days ago. The shop was decorated in such a cool way and it was so laid back. Bison did my piercing and worked with me on my phobia and talked to me the whole time. He answered all of my questions and was SO clean. My piercing's placement is wonderful and only costed $20! Half of what other places charge for AMAZING customer service and quality. I've received most of my work done here. Marion has incredible skills and is always able to exceed expectations on the 7/9 tattoos I have. He is so beyond patient and willing to listen to your creative process, Andy he truly cares about the work he is doing. Bison is one of the best piercers I've ever seen; he's always upbeat and ready to answer any question you have about a piercing both before pierced and after care instructions. Sadly I've not had the pleasure of being tattooed by Jeff, but he always has a friendly smile and is willing to listen; the work I've seen him do is also amazing. I've gotten all of my piercings done here by Bison and he is THE BEST! He is always extremely professional and is great at his job! He keeps everything very, very clean and tidy and if you follow his directions for aftercare with your piercing, you'll be just fine. I changed my opinion when they refused to do a fix/repair/touch up just over a month after getting my tattoo.  Now I will have to pay someone full price to get my tattoo fixed from how Jeff messed it up.  Ink is out of the lines, the shape was warped from the original and there are areas that were hammered. Amazing service- I had "Jeff" do my tattoo- it was my first and I'm sure that I was a total baby, but he was very patient and dealt with my nervousness- he even bummed me a cigarette before we started!  He did a very good job- I have a few lines I could get cleaned up, but Art Attack offers free touch-ups!  They're also very reasonably priced- I know nobody wants a "cheap tattoo" but when the quality is the same- why not pay less? I went to Vice and Virtue for a quote and they told me I had to book a week in advance and it'd be $120 plus tip- at Art Attack they took me right when I came in and I only paid $75.  My only complaint would be that they don't seem to be that artistic- but that didn't really matter because my tattoo was text.
