Shop: My very first impression of General Lee's is that the shop is very clean and very organized. I met an older gentleman that I believe to be the owner. He's really cool and easy to conversation with. All of the staff that I met seemed like genuine people.Artist: Tyler Bush is a very, very talented artist. Got the infinity gauntlet tattooed inside of my left bicep. Tyler was quick and his technique made sure that the tattoo wasn't painful. Great size, reasonable price and his use of colors are awesome. It also didn't take as long as I thought it would. I'll definitely see him again.

Best place in Kentucky to get some ink. Super friendly and talented artists, wouldn’t go anywhere else. Definitely recommend you to go see Tyler for some awesome work!

Casey did an amazing job hand drawing my rose for my grandpa that had past away a while back any I finally got it done, I would definitely go back to get the rest of my tattoos!!!

I came in as one of those annoying customers who really didn't have much of an idea as to what I wanted, I just knew the basic theme I was aiming for and where I wanted it. Mike was beyond patient, came up with an idea for me that I loved, and did the work on the spot. The atmosphere here is beyond welcoming and relaxed, and I couldn't recommend this place (especially Mike) enough! If you're looking to get a good quality tattoo for a good price, look no further than right here.

Ron AKA General Lee took the time out to do a new turn on one of his old tattoos just for me. I'm hooked. I highly recommend Ron if he's not there though I'm terrible with names but he did my last tattoo before Ron did this gorgeous skull and a spade in my arm. I will be a returning customer as I have been all year.

I've been going to this shop for years. I have always been astounded by the work that they do. But, how your experience plays out is all about what you expect. If you expect the typical "Customer is always right", then you are mistaken. Any tattoo shop has the right to deny any service of any kind to anyone. This particular shop has never done HAND tattoos. It's just one of their policies. No hand tattoos and no neck tattoos... at least that's how I remember it.
Regardless of their policies, I have gone there for every tattoo I have since my second one. And I have always been worked on by great people who have great attitudes about their work. The ONLY time I've ever seen anyone from the shop get pushy or irritated is when their customer is pushy or obnoxious to begin with.

Don't call this place unless you want to talk to someone who's rude and pushy. I called to schedule an appointment to get a wedding band tattoo and the guy I talked to told me I didn't want one because "they don't look like wedding bands, they end up looking like prison tattoos". I told him I didn't want it to it to look like a real ring and he said "well, we still don't do those".

Shop: My very first impression of General Lee's is that the shop is very clean and very organized. I met an older gentleman that I believe to be the owner. He's really cool and easy to conversation with. All of the staff that I met seemed like genuine people.Artist: Tyler Bush is a very, very talented artist. I came in as one of those annoying customers who really didn't have much of an idea as to what I wanted, I just knew the basic theme I was aiming for and where I wanted it. Mike was beyond patient, came up with an idea for me that I loved, and did the work on the spot. The atmosphere here is beyond welcoming and relaxed, and I couldn't recommend this place (especially Mike) enough! I highly recommend Ron if he's not there though I'm terrible with names but he did my last tattoo before Ron did this gorgeous skull and a spade in my arm. I've been going to this shop for years. I have always been astounded by the work that they do. But, how your experience plays out is all about what you expect. If you expect the typical "Customer is always right", then you are mistaken. Any tattoo shop has the right to deny any service of any kind to anyone. This particular shop has never done HAND tattoos. It's just one of their policies. No hand tattoos and no neck tattoos... at least that's how I remember it.
Regardless of their policies, I have gone there for every tattoo I have since my second one. And I have always been worked on by great people who have great attitudes about their work. The ONLY time I've ever seen anyone from the shop get pushy or irritated is when their customer is pushy or obnoxious to begin with.
