Been dealing with josh smithers for about 7 years now. He has done 95% of my work and wish i knew him for the other 5%. He does awesome work and has done a little free hand tattooing for me. Amazing experience. I made an appointment with Smithers on recommendation from a friend. I had fun and got the exact tattoo I wanted. Working with Smithers was great and he did an awesome job of letting me take a break if I asked. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable the whole time. (as comfortable as one can be getting a tattoo) I will return and work with Smithers if and when I decide to get another tattoo. Update: I've had 2 jobs done by Smithers and I have greatly enjoyed it both times. He has earned a loyal customer for life. His shop is great and the other artists have awesome portfolios. I've been tattooed here twice now and have had nothing but great experiences both times. I found this place after searching for a black and grey artist in the area. I found Byron  Doty's work online and looked amazing, totally my style. So I went in to talk to him, he was so friendly, everyone in the shop was, I thought this to be somewhat abnormal of other shops I've visited. Most of the time it's, too cool for school attitude. He was very patient in helping me find the right size, script font, etc. I feel that he was pretty light handed and fast making this process as painless as possible. Excellent customer service! We went in on a whim on my birthday to get my nose pierced and my friend's cartilage pierced. Tim saw to us right away, was very nice and funny. We bought a can of salt water that didn't end up working but brought it back the next day and they replaced it for free. Very comfortable environment. Nose was $60, cartilage was $40.
