This last piece took about 4 hours, and it became quickly evident that he takes his work very seriously. I've been tattooed by some great artists in Louisville and surrounding areas but these guys are hands down the best. One of the most important things about your experience with a tattoo shop is being comfortable(especially for tattoo virgins! Great place to go for your first tattoo I may add). I've had work done by some very rude artists in the past. I've been to shops that will just put what I want on a stencil and slap it on, I've also had shops blatantly discriminate my design proposal and tell me "that will look stupid we're doing it like this." What I like about LPTS is how friendly they are. They will always do exactly what you ask for but they will consult with you as well and make sure you are 100% on the design and will tweak-it to perfection. They make suggestions and give you their honest, professional opinions and present options. If you want photo realism, new school, old school traditional, or any other style they will do it phenomenally. Prices are reasonable and the quality of work is the best around. The shop is always clean and tidy, they use new needles and are very cautious of your safety. I've been tattooed by both Lee and Brian several times now and am extremely happy with everything they have done. I also know Merrick and several of his clients. Although I've not had the pleasure of working with him yet (I'm in the middle of large projects started by the other artists) I am familiar with his work and he does a great job as well! 5 stars only shop I'll ever go to again.
