Last night my husband and I were tattooed by Eric Barmore at Creative Ink Tattoo Studio. We drove almost two hours for our appointment. I knew what I wanted when we arrived but wasn't sure how it would look next to an existing tattoo. It took Eric a matter of a few minutes to draw something up next to my original tattoo that made the two look like they were made to go side by side. My tat is amazing. The color and clarity make it almost life like looking. I am 100% thrilled with it. My husband spent months searching for an idea for his tattoo, and in my opinion, had settled on something shortly after us arriving....that was until Eric pulled out a book for him to look through. A few pages in, my husband found exactly what he'd been looking for but had been unable to find.It took almost 4 hours to complete my husband's tattoo. The detail Eric gave to his tattoo shows how much Eric loves and takes pride in what he does. Once we returned home, we searched hundreds of pictures of tattoos similar to the one he got. Loved the tattoo I had done here! It was a cancer ribbon for my Grandma who passed away from lung cancer and he went the extra mile to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. Once again never fails to please me. I've gotten 5 works of art don't here. I've been coming to creative ink for 5 years now and they're amazing. Not only is the work amazing but the people are awesome too. I've been tattooed by brook bill and now Jeff. All are amazing artist. My most recent one was done by Jeff and it was a Maltese cross with a thin red line for fallen firefighters. I couldn't be happier with it. After visiting a few other tattoo places I can honestly say this is hands down the friendliest and nicest place to go in the area. I am Wild Bills wife and its about time I get to post my review. I believe my husband is a great artist and does his very best to make all his customers happy and is always working to be and even better artist. He works his ass off for his family and the shop. I will say that I do believe the shop needs work ( just being honest eddie and lisa) but how many of you people bashing the shop tonight really know how much money it takes and how hard it is to run a business, and mor...e that one for that matter. The shop is not dirty or unsafe its simply a older building. Brook is no longer working there and was a great artist that at the end had a problem and has moved on. Creative Ink sells tattoos hair cuts and body jewerly PERIOD! As for the people that dont work there anymore and was fired. I dont want to put reason or details cause I dont believe thats anyones busniess. I would like to think that people would be smart enough and resepectful enough to make it clear who thay are talking about. One artist should not be bashed for someone elses mistake. Rest assured that the bad apples have been picked a remodel is in the works and the people working there are not only going to give you great tattoos great piercing and great service. On a personal note I understand that some people might be mad or maybe just dont deal well with being caught but keep that on your personal page where you talk shit about people and block them from seeing it. Having your friends write bad reviews for you is not only a bitch move as far as Im concerned but is also pointless. If for what ever reason you dont like the shop either get in touch with the owners to help resovle the promblem or simply dont come back. I'm retracting my post against creative ink. Not only was I told to do it by Raven bones former artist there but the one person I was talking about brook had already been fired. I've never had anything against the artist Wild Bill and have always been a fan of his tattoos. I apologize directly to Bill if he thought I was attacking him. I also apologize to the owner Eddie and hope he doesn't get anymore grief from the situation. And also to my cousin Seagram who got me the apprenticeship in the first place. These guys never attacked me and I'm glad the owner hit me up and helped clear this up. To anyone bashing this place Wild Bill is a great artist that is completely trustworthy. If I could rate this any lower I would. Absolutely awful people and even worse service. Atmosphere would have to be slightly above that of a dumpster. Not only were they shady, but actually were doing drug deals. Now I don't own my own business, but drug trafficking isn't the best way to impress clients. Completely give tattoo shops a horrid stereotype of being sketchy and shady. Heard many threats while here and frankly was disturbed by the people. Was extremely disappointed on Friday the 13th! Called to ask what the wait was for piercings and was told 20 minutes. Had also asked what time they were going to stop honoring the deal and they told me it was aroudn 2am (I called a round 9/9:30) called an hour later just to see if the wait time had changed becuase I had just got off and was heading there, was told you all were not accepting anyone else for the rest of the night. Understand they place was more then likely packed, but shouldn't have changed in an hour, and I even told them that I called an hour ago and was told 2am and a 20 min wait, didn't seem to care. My husband and I got our tattoos done a couple years ago. I wanted a moon with a star in it on my neck. I designed it he put it on my skin. The colors are blending together now and it's lost it's definition. Now my husbands tattoo was a huge family tree to be put on his back. It's got somewhere in the neighborhood of 634 leaves on it, it's not 3D as they had discussed and the names that are in the branches are hardly visible. Honestly it looks like a bad jailhouse tattoo. I would recommend if you want a good looking tattoo that you take your business elsewhere. Read Less

When I first arrived at this place, I questioned whether or not I would receive a good tattoo cover-up, but decided to chance it. The parking lot was made of gravel and the place did not seem to get a lot of business. As I walked up the stairs behind the building, I knocked on the door of the shop, checked the knob and noticed the door was unlocked, and walked in. The place was clean and Brook (the artist) addressed me as I walked in and asked me what I wanted to get done. I had my laptop and showed him the piece I wanted him to work on. I explained that I had another artist do the same piece and printed off a picture for that artist, but I was not satisfied with the quality of the work he had done. He examined the work and came up with a variety of colors that would look good with my complexion and make the tattoo "pop." He got on his computer and showed me a variety of work he'd done for other customers to give a preview of what I would see if he were to fix my tattoo and I was pleased with what I saw. He got on the website I got the picture from and printed the picture off.Before Brook did the tattoo make-over (I should call it) he layed down new plastic on the chair and layed out steril supplies in preparation for the (tattoo) make-over. He took a closer look at the work of the previous artist and questioned why the arstist missed out on a lot of the "best parts" of the picture and took shortcuts through a lot of the small, but noticible parts of the picture. He added a few more lines to the tattoo and added one or two more petals to the flower I wanted. He was pretty easy going and allowed me to see what the tattoo looked like before he completed it to see if I liked the work he'd done thus far. The final product of the tattoo was better than I imagined it to be and Brook covered my tattoo and supplied me with a vitamin A&D ointment and instructions on how to care for my tattoo. I was happy with the chance I took and my only regret was that I was unable to give a tip for the excellent make-over I received for my tattoo.
