Worst experience I’ve ever had with a tattoo shop. Almost every appointment was cancelled day of, a few times I made it to the shop and they let me know when I got there it was cancelled. Would not have gone back but it was a larger tattoo and had already been started. But it’s a year later, and it’s still not complete. I had an appointment set up to finish it but the day before my appointment I call the shop to verify my appointment since they continuously cancel and they let me know the artist will be out at least a month. At that point I want to get my deposit back and take my business elsewhere but they tell me deposits can’t be refunded. I didn’t want an artist I was not comfortable with finishing such a big piece so I decided to just go in and get a small tattoo to cover the $50 deposit and be done with it. Do not go to this tattoo shop! I spent a lot of time getting tattoos here when it was filled with better artists but they are all gone now. The artists were all hastily replaced with people that can't even pull a straight line, don't know basic fundamentals, and will tear up your skin. You will also get banned from their Instagram if you mention that they are scaring people for life with subpar work. Read Less

My wife decided she wanted a Tattoo. We went to bleed blue that day. They were packed (Saturday)and we had our two little girls with us. I was there for 3hrs and saw at least 80 people walk in and not one time was the staff there disrespectful to any costumer. Like I said, I had two small children there and I knew I was in the way, it's a small place, but never felt like it bothered them. In fact they even cut up with my kids. Now about my wifes tattoo artist Mike. After my wife explained what she wanted, he bent over backwards to get it right, made several changes and even went out of his way to put it on her that day, Unbelievable! She is completely happy with it. I just posted this comment because I saw several poor comments that didn't reflect the experience I had. I will definitely be going back. I've been here for multiple piercings (naval, dermal, and cartilage) and I still have all of the piercings and original hardware with no issues and hardly any pain. Quick, professional, and honest. i absolutely loved this place ! i just recently got my navel pierced there , and i had Jordan. she was so very kind and had a bubbly personality. the first time i got my belly button pierced was at Body Art Tattoo in georgetown. they pierced it to high so i had to take it out. I had an unprofessional experience here. I went in for a simple piercing. The front desk and piercer were unwelcoming and treated me as if I was an interuption to their morning. They were not busy, at all. I overheard them making disparaging remarks - the reason for which were unclear. While I do not expect to be treated in any special manner, I do expect to be treated with minimal respect. I left. I do not want someone so seemingly disinterested leaving their mark on my body. I have gotten my nose pierced three times. Micah Miracle was the one who pierced my nose. It was virtually PAINLESS before and after. It's been 3 days and my nose is barely even sore! Weeks prior to my tattoo I researched different tattoo parlors in Lexington, KY (where I was going to be for my birthday). Bleed Blue Tattoo caught my attention the most and between the artists I knew Stephanie was The One. We corresponded via email so that I could see if she could do what I wanted plus do a cover up within the piece. She said that I could book her for the entire day and that it would be a $100 deposit. I ended up calling the next day and was told that it would be a $500 deposit however, I let her know what Stephanie told me so it was just $100. If I had the money at the time, it would have been more beneficial to just put down $500 to cushion the shock of the price of the tattoo.My appointment was at 11:30 AM on a Friday morning and I arrived a little before 11. The receptionist was nice. I filled out papers and waited for about 10 minutes before Stephanie came out to talk about my design. I showed her pictures and within an hour it was drawn out and stenciled on my body. The total needle time was a little over 6 hours. I took a break after the outline so that I could go to the bathroom and wait for the Lidocaine to settle. The shading was almost unbearable but that has nothing to do with the artist or shop.Stephanie was very nice but very blunt. Her personality is fun and her taste in music is great (from dubstep to Tupac). She's an amazing artist and I'm glad it was her that worked on me for so long. The other artists were personable as well and I did not feel uncomfortable once. The shop was clean, techniques were sterile. The atmosphere was nice but kind of typical for a tattoo shop. My tattoo came out to be $1,000 but I believe that it was completely worth it. I will be going there for the rest of my tattoos. Overall, I am a very satisfied customer. Read Less
