I flew in from Beverly Hills California to visit relatives. I was told Big Daddy's tattoo was the place to get a good tattoo and that Trey was the man. I called Etown Big Daddy's and they said call Brandenburg location for an appt. I called and the man that answered said I have to come in to the shop to make an appt? I said ok even tho it seemed rather strange I drive over 100 miles from where I was staying just to make an appt. But I was told Trey was the best! I arrived with my daughter whom also wanted a tattoo and we spoke directly to Trey whom said ok leave your number and I'll see what day we can do the tattoos I have to check my book. He was in the middle of doing a tattoo.  He said I promise to call you back today and set it up....that was three weeks ago. I have ALLOT of money and was willing to fly back whenever he said he could do it but clearly he doesn't have the respect to even call and say no or I'm too busy or whatever instead he lost two great customers, gets a shitty review and no further referrals from us. I have one hell of a large family whom all would have came to him.  The thing that bothers me the most is shitty customer service! I don't give him one star!  With this lousy customer service I don't get how he possibly could be booked up??? In California we don't roll like this, we show RESPECT! We know how to use a telephone and make an appointment. If we ever said you have to come in we would never have a business last long!  I'm glad I didn't let him tat me up, it more than likely would have been as crappy as his business! Read Less

Justin Casteel inked my chest today under the collar bone on the left side with some watercolor. He is both very light-handed and light-hearted, giving me the most amazing first tattoo experience I could ask for with little pain and lots of good, easygoing conversation. My whole visit took two and a half hours, from the first sketches to the stenciling to the finished product-- and honestly it did not feel like I was there for that long because I had such a good time. Justin made several unique design choices and cleared them with me, and I am so pleased with the finished product because it is more beautiful than I imagined-- he is foremost an artist and that gained him my utmost respect. My ink was worth what I paid for it and more to me, so my artist got a wholesome tip at the end of my appointment (which I recommend considering when getting a tattoo because your artist will appreciate the generosity). I will gladly return to Big Daddy's in anticipation of what they can do for me next. Read Less

Had an appointment for a color retouch. Was supposed to be free, was told $40. Ok agreed to that Mike the artist in Radcliff said come in Wednesday at noon, I took off work to come he wasn't there. They called him and he said it was Thursday? Wrong I know he told me Wednesday! How unprofessional! I will never have him do another tattoo for me again! And I know others that have had issues with them! I will be spreading the word to not go here to see Mike. I'm very disgusted with this! He lives like 2 minutes away and couldn't come and do a 20 minute retouch on color like he said? I won't be back Thursday buddy! So beware, guess I should have got it in writing! Won't happen again! I went to Kenny for a cover-up of a tattoo that was long overdue for being covered up, and to say he was amazing was would a complete and total understatement! He was very professional, and even thought the cover-up was considerably larger than the original tattoo, it didn't hurt nearly as much as the original. I'm sure the other guys here are great, but Kenny is the only guy I will have do any of my future tattoos. I can't praise his work enough! Read Less

Their tattooing ability may be fine, but their ability to know when their workers are going to show up is not! And to keep telling someone call back in 15 min. Oh no their not here call back in an hour nope sorry call back in 30 min. Is not very professional in my book I paid 25.00 to get paper notarized but wasted my money cause still never got tattooed!
