Had an appt set for 3 weeks. About to pull up 5 mins away and dude says he needs to reschedule he hurt his arm. When my gf gets there he is there looking high asf and nothing wrong with him. She got her deposit back but horrible the way they treated her. Read Less

I had what I considered a poorly done outline of a tattoo with much meaning to me. The artist (Nicole) saved the piece simply with excellent color work. The environment is nice, the artists are great, and I recommend this shop to new and old tattoo fans alike. I will personally be returning for more work. Read Less

Got my first, and only (so far) professional tattoo here when I was 17. I'm 25 now, and still in love with it. It's never faded or needed touched up (except where my c-section scar ran through it). I'll make it back there eventually, need other tattoos touched up and would love a new one. Been years since I've been here, but I enjoyed my experience so much I would still recommend it to anyone. I had mine done by Alex and he had to work around an old Asian symbol I had to make a cross of them he spaced them and sized them perfectly then on freehand put a perfect Asian cross around them.  I was amazed at good this is considering he is not the big buck here Mark Lind is.  My wife also got her first tattoo done by Nichole and he artwork is stunning, she made a great Alzheimer's ribbon for my wife in honor of her mother, she drew it all up made the stencil and popped my wives cherry in a great environment that made it easy and comfortable for her.  I cannot stress this enough the next tattoo you get give this little shop a try they are small and give a really great personal customer service feel. I had a tattoo priced two weeks ago for a draw up and a set appointment for exactly two weeks for the artist, Michael, to draw up. I didn't even receive a phone call, but a text stating that they had to cancel the appointment because the tattoo was incomplete. That they had to move the appointment. I placed a $20 deposit on this tattoo, had a set appointment, and now I am empty handed. This was the only day of the week within the month that I could get this completed. I have been to many other artists and it takes a while to draw up a tattoo, it takes time. BUT even with a booked appointment this is a JOB. Very disappointed. Very unprofessional. Mark is amazing. He had the same ideas I had and it was like he knew what I already wanted before I got there. I had him do two coverups on my arms and I think he was more excited about it than I was. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Love love love the work he did for me. Mark Lind is one of the BEST tattoo artists in the NKY area, in my opinion.  I have had a lot of work from him in the past couple of years, and he is amazing.  Mark is an artist outside of the shop in terms of paintings and the like, which adds to his customization proficiency. The prices are what you pay for, so expect custom work to be a bit more but very good stuff.  Another artist, Ramone, is well known for his black & gray work, which is phenomenal bar none.  I have seen his work coming out of the shop and in his portfolio and it is incredible.The -only- reason I am not giving Lucky 13 a 4 stars review (sorry guys) is that some of the staff members can be really rude to customers, acting like its a privilege to be a customer there and that you are bothering them.  Granted, this is not true of all the artists, but some of them will give you that vibe.  With that being said, it's a good shop but be prepared to make an appointment as Mark gets booked up very quickly.  The guys here are also very clean and will prep their stations in front of you and change gloves with each break and bandaging, which is something you definitely want out of your tattoo artist.
