To start off it was an amazing experience I have read most of the reviews and I think if you had a bad experience here your going to have a bad experience anywhere you with that being said I was quote a price to rework my tattoo that needed to be finished for a two hour session and was actually there for 2 1/2 hours and the price didn't change not to mention ron done a stellar job and he is going to get to finish the other tat I have that was done half ass but hey I know that Ron will make it look great Read Less

First time I got my son's name done, Mike did a great job. This time, I gave a $40 deposit to get 5 letters covered. Why take $40 deposits, if you're not willing to work with customer? Dealt with Steve, very snappy and rude. I cancelled twice because I own a business myself and unfortunately had to work Superbowl Sunday, then Valentine's Day I had to work again. Called today to express that $120 PLUS my $40 deposit to cover 5 small letters was a bit steep, and if I could re-schedule to get something else done. He kept going back and forth with me, and honestly I just said screw it, keep the $40 and I will not be returning again... As a business owner myself, I ensure that my employees know to never let a customer leave unhappy. A tattoo shop should be no different, needless to say, I will not be returning and taking my business elsewhere. These guys are very rude and pompous, go to Symbolic, don't waste your money. So disappointed!! I spent 600 on a tattoo that looked like I sat in some guys basement!! I was so bruised up when I left my whole arm was sore for a month! Blown out lines and horrible line work! I had to spend another 300 just to get it fixed!! The guy had a 3 yr old running around while I got my tattoo, kept stopping to feed her and deal with her. My tattoo looked like a kid drew it!! The ring tattoos we received from James are not what we'd hoped for. I am very disappointed, I've seen the good art that came from the shop and feel very shorted. The gentleman behind the counter was super helpful. This was not worth the 100 dollars and now I'll be spending even more to fix this. No matter how small I feel the artist should put in full effort to make the best art they can. I was bawling when the swelling went down and I could see just how bad they turned out. So my husband and I went to have our wedding rings tattooed, really simple and now that we spent 50 each we will have to have these crooked things fixed. I am so appalled at the work we received from James Greenway. The guy behind the counter was great but the artist should have just been straightforward with us if he could not provide what we wanted. I have 8 tattoos all done at various parlors and Ol' Crow is by far the best one I've ever been to. The moment we walked in the door we were put at ease by not only the decor but also the genuinely friendly and overall welcoming demenor of everyone that worked there. They quoted a very reasonable rate for what I wanted and was able to fit us that day. (Wednesday during off peak hours, I recommend calling ahead to hear the best times). I am absolutely thrilled with the way my tattoo looks, but even moreso in how little pain that was involved. (In the past I've had work done by people who seem to try and make it hurt, maybe it was just me). James was funny, talented, and light handed as could be. Great bedside manner, they were very professional and kind. Josh was my artist and this was my first tattoo. I was a little nervous because I was turned away by other artists, because of my complexion, and they did not support what I wanted. The buildup to the tattoo was amazing. The execution was rushed, unsteady, and pretty fucking amateur. I now have my first BAD TATTOO after years of carefully selecting tattoo artists. I got a huge rose on my arm from these guys and it's the worst tattoo I have on my sleeve. I can't remember the name of the dude that did it but I'm almost certain he was one of the managers. Not only did they rip me off on my price because it was one of my first big pieces so I wasn't sure how much it would be but the artist lied to me and told me that he could make it as realistic as the picture I showed him. It looks nothing like the picture I showed him and to make things worse it is completely shaded grey & looks absolutely horrible. It is so ugly and I have to have this on my body for the rest of my life. Not to mention the dude didn't say a word to me the whole session and it was beyond uncomfortable. This place is horrible and should be avoided, they lied to me telling me they could do my tattoo the exact way I was wanting it just to lie and take my money. Sketchy tattoo artists are the worst and these guys are it. Avoid this shop at all costs. Read Less

Jame's did me right. Guys were all friendly and helpful. I'd recommend them to anyone. My tat has taken 2 4.5 hour setting and just about an hour left to go. The work is amazing, shop was clean, ive had 0 issues with any of the work. Dam good jobs guys!! Read Less

Screwed up the Zelda crest on my forearm really bad. Not symmetrical at all. The shading is also spotty. I rate a 2 because my girlfriend has gotten a really nice piece done from here but I'm shocked they screwed this up with it being so simple and not free handed.Read Less

I came in about a week ago and got a forearm tattoo of the Star of Life. The artist was super heavy handed and caused severe damage to my skin, scar tissue, swelling, the works. Lines aren'the completely straight. The ink isn't even there in some places. Took care of it just like all my other tattoos, including a tattoo in the exact same place on the other forearm. Terrible terrible work, definitely won'the be returning, and I'm going to make sure to warn any body I know to avoid this shop. I paid $70 for a piece of "art" that I have to have someone with actual talent fix. Read Less

My man and I went to get matching tats November 2016. They were great and professional and gave us exactly what we wanted. We had gone to another shop in town that made us feel terrible for wanting our simple but meaningful tats and I left crying that one. Ol' Crow picked up the pieces and made it a memorable time and as special as it should have been! James is amazing and just today I sent them two of my girlfriend's to get their first tats together! I went here to ask how much a tattoo would cost and was quoted the same amount for a very detailed tattoo. My tattoo consisted of some lines, a few letters and stars. Simple right? Was told it would cost from $150-$240. My friend asked about a few tattoos that had plenty of color and shading, and told her that the pricing would be from $200-$350 on one and the price kept going up from there. I went and bought myself a whole tattoo kit for $200 and have done 3 of my own tattoos that I'm sure they would have tried to charge me at least $200 for as well.
