I get stopped and complimented often enough I carry her business card with me to hand out to people who ask who does my work. Talent overflows in this artist. Steve Turner and the gang at Hell Bomb are amongst the best I've ever dealt with. The professionalism and yet the relaxed atmosphere makes the experience amazing. The prices are fair and it's easy to pay down before you even hit your appointment time. Spencer does a great job of getting you scheduled and keeping you posted with reminders of your appointment. Great place, great artist! Staff has always been super nice to customers. They had many walk-ins my few times there. They also have some books, etc. if your not sure what you want. I've had them do all my tattoos. My very first about 10 years ago when a few of them were at another shop that has since closed. I've had Heath mostly, and Megan once. They all do great work. Super clean and I've never had any problems! Good people to conversate while you sit for awhile. And the prices are not super inflated- they are actually very affordable. This is something you want done right, the first time. I always get compliments on mine and always tell people where I got them! They can do pretty much anything and will help make it look great. This is the only place I'll go when I'm in Kansas. The store is clean, the artist are polite and professional, and the cute girl at the front desk is very helpful. Called to see if they do walk-ins. They said "defiantly! Come in!" So I get there literally 5min later and the front desk lady was extremely rude and said they didn't have time. Then when we told her what we wanted she said we needed to bring our own design in, that they won't draw our design and Quoted an outrageous price. Would never go here. Read Less

I got a floral leg piece here over the past couple of months. I was very very pleased with the work Megan did. She is very friendly as is the rest of the staff. She made my experience a good one. I would rate a 5 except my second appt happened to get double booked with another person with the same first name as me. I had to return home and return a week later. They were apologetic but my drive in from out of town was an inconvenience after I had my appt set for three weeks. Otherwise the experience was excellent and I would highly recommend Megan or anywhere working there. I will return too. Read Less

Their only willing to do a tattoo with color if you're a white person. They automatically assume all black people are too dark for color on there tattoos. If you're African American stay away from this place because in their eyes your dark as charcoal. Extremely rude and racist I hope they get shut down or go bankrupt! Read Less

Had my first tattoo done here yesterday! It was a very special piece to us because we lost a pregnancy last year, and yesterday was the due date. I was really nervous about getting one (not as hardcore as some of you awesome people) and just didn't know what to expect. Shaila was my artist and I would absolutely recommend her to people. She did beautiful work and so nice before, during and after the tat. She told me what to expect and walked me through the whole process. It only took about 20 minutes!! They have great artists here but their service is terrible. I have gotten three tattoos here by two different people and each time the front desk is rude and my tattoo artist was more rude. I've had shay do one of them and she was actually amazing. My tattoo came out perfect and she was very nice and friendly. My other artist I had was terrible. My last two were by him and I will not come back to this place because they make me feel stupid and bad about myself every time. Read Less

I am no connoisseur of tattoos or tattoo artists, but I can tell you that Shai Mayberry will get the job done quickly, (relatively) painlessly, and with ultimate attention to detail.  You can count my tattoos on one hand, but even given my level of relative inexperience, I could tell Shai was a pro.  She talked with me throughout the entire process and managed to make me feel comfortable through an uncomfortable procedure. Not to mention, my ink looks great!The shop is awesome and features a variety of awesome artwork with a hint of "nobody cares" style.  The customer is not always right at Hell Bomb, and for good reason.  They are clearly artists, in every since of the term, not service workers whose primary duty is to serve to your beck and call.  BRAVO, Hell Bomb!
