I was pleasantly surprised to be invited into the shop with that was bright, clean, smelt good and perfect temperature to sit in while we waited. The gentlemen at the counter quickly greeted us, asked what I was looking for, gave me pricing on my piercing and gave me the form to fill out. Being a Saturday, they were pretty busy with walk in customers. We waited about 15 minutes when we were called back for my turn. The artist was amazing, made me feel comfortable and talked me through all of the steps. It was all very quick and not as painful as I had imagined. Clean place. Doesn't seem like my artist was interested in quality work. Lines went straight missing some in a spot even after touch up and the blended part of my tattoo is only on one side. I got my nose pierced back in August 2017. Not even a week after, a bump appeared, which to my knowledge was a keloid. I kept cleaning it the way I was instructed and it wouldn't go away. January rolls around, it is still red, bleeds when I clean it, and develops pus pockets. So I Facebook message them and they tell me to come in. I drive 30 minutes into Wichita, because I don't live there, and all he had to say was "it's not infected, you're cleaning it too much. Clean it on...ce a day and put a heating pad on it". I do as he tells me for the next 2 weeks, and it was the worse it had ever gotten. He had also told me to keep in touch with them. After that 2 weeks, I send a Facebook message, like I had before to contact them. Nothing. My message was opened and ignored. I went to the doctors today because nothing has changed in the 8 months I've had it. Turns out, it is infected. I'm on 2 different medications to get rid of the infection, and was told I needed a higher grade metal. Something I brought up to the person I talked to and he said that wasn't the problem. Y'all were super nice when I got it done, and I felt very comfortable, but I feel as if my issues weren't being heard, and by the looks of the other reviews, it seems to be a pattern with people who have issues after your services. My daughter wanted her belly button pierced for her 16th birthday and after doing some research we decided to go with Elektrik Chair. I was glad we did. Jordan was super helpful and did a great job of explaining the process and making us feel very comfortable with the procedure. Great place to go to get piercings. They know exactly what they are doing and are reasonably priced as well. They also make sure that you are feeling well after the piercings before letting you leave. I went in a couple days ago to get my first piercing - a double helix. Considering I was more nervous about the social interactions than the actual piercing, they made it so easy on me! They were all very kind and casual, explaining very well every step of the process, giving me a wide array of jewelry to choose from, and keeping me very aware of the sterilization. Absolutely wonderful! I went in for new jewelery for a piercing, they wanted to do an anatomy check to ensure I was getting the right size jewelery. Erik was the one helping me. I was curious as to why I was having some issues healing. He was then able to tell me very professionally that the other place I went to went to deep, so it wouldn't heal properly. My daughter and I traveled from Beloit, Kansas for the sole purpose of having our daughters nose pierced for her fifteenth birthday. She was extremely excited, and anxious..lol. I joined my girlfriend to get herself a tattoo today and it's been a long time since I've been here. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the shop here. All the staff were very friendly and personable, brought us in and get her checked in quickly. The artist, Jose, was very professional and friendly. He was very quick and clean with doing her tattoo which was a very big piece. Very friendly, very ttentive to the details. I was also very impressed with his attention to her privacy. Some ink pieces do need to have a large portion of your body available to tattoo, and he took very good care to make sure her privacy and dignity were well respected. Closed in blinders,along sure clothing was still where it needed to be, etc. for that, I thank you man. Very cool. Overall, even as a "spectator"I've been impressed. I have had 2 tattoos and 3 piercings done here. However, this was 4 years ago. My sister and I came back recently for tattoos and I was appalled. The customer service is terrible. Many things that happened could have been avoided by the employees here simply communicating what was going on.I don't know if they are under new ownership or what is going on, but it was absolutely terrible. I went in today to get my first tattoo. Such a good experience. I went in with a good idea of what I wanted, wasn't extravagant at all. I was briefed of what would happen and given upkeep instructions for the tattoo by the artist. His name was Jose. For him, I give him 5 stars. He was gentle and flexible with my naivety on such things. The tattoo itself took 30 minutes and it was such a good experience. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the wait time I waited was 2 1/2 hours before I was addressed after filling out paperwork, but it is partly my own fault that i didn't call and make an appointment. Regardless, great location, clean tools (I had plenty of time to watch the sanitization of the area before and after each session), and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Jose and this location. Personally, I have never been here for a tattoo. I have never been here for more than a belly button piercing for myself, but I have watched many other friends also get piercings here. We were all 100% satisfied with the service we recieved.First off, the environment is amazing. It's clean. It's kind of busy but not too busy. It's that right amount of busy to where it's not awkward but not too much to where you just can't wait to get out of there. I love how you walk in and there's a hair salon, then you walk to the back where all of the piercings and tattoos are done.Second, the staff is amazing. I have yet to meet someone rude there and I've been there a handful of times. They are always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Professionals. Third, they are amazing at doing piercings. I myself am terrified of needles and have been treated rudely for being that way by other places.. But when I went in to get my belly button pierced, I let the man doing my piercing know of my fear. Many times. Lol.. He was patient and friendly. He knew what to say to help me get through it and keep me distracted.. Before I knew it, it was over with. I barely felt a thing. I had no troubles with the piercing afterwards. It never got infected and it is perfectly aligned with my belly button.Fourth, they have good prices. Some of the prices are probably more than some people want to pay, but you pay for quality and the Elektrik Chair is just that. When I went in I found out that the owner is there to do consults and he was super nice. I wasn't sure of to put my idea on paper and he kind of led me. When I went in for my appointment (a walk in on Saturday) my artist Chevy took my idea to a new level. I changed my mind 9 million times he would laugh and say "I'm here to make it perfect and make you happy!" That he did!! Just a heads up. If you go for a Saturday walk in, be there am hour before they open. I also got a piercing and he was just as nice. Made sure I was comfy and took his time. They just all around were great.
