Took my daughter in to get her first tattoo. Jered did a wonderful job designing the tattoo. My daughter wants to go back to him at a later date to get my mom’s dates put around the tattoo that she got. I’m at a loss for words to say how thankful I am for how beautiful this tribute to my mom is. I went in for my first tattoo yesterday (Saturday) while they were doing walk ins. Waited for an hourish outside as we didn't want to be stuck behind a lot of people and I would gladly wait 2 outside, in the cold, just to have another tattoo by Austin. He was very professional and extremely patient and comforting (as this was my first).Read Less

Austin's line work is absolutely terrible (he's lazy and just goes as fast as he can to get you out and take your money as well [I regret tipping him.].), if you chose this shop for ink, avoid Austin at all costs. The parlor looks great and the staff was very helpful. Originally the person set up my appointment for the wrong date but I called and they easily fixed it. I had a great artist and he did a superb job however, based on the amount of time I spent in the chair and ink used, I was overcharged. They also did not give me an original written estimate so I ended up paying $40 more than what they said to me when I set up the appointment. Probably going to try someplace else for my next tattoo. Ashley has done over half of my piercings, and she is by far the best piercing artist in town! She’s extremely sociable and does a great job making you feel comfortable. Me and my Step Mom went in around 4 today on a Tuesday as walk ins. My step mom really just wanted simple scripting that ment a lot to her. I wanted a nostril piercing and my half of a mine and my deployed husbands matching tattoo of cat dog. After waiting at Addictions in Ink for an hour after being told they would be able to see us and then not because of the set up time and time it would take for them to do the tattoos was to long and wouldn't be able to get it done before... 8 pm (mind you it was only 4!) So I called up Artist at Large and they told us come on in with a welcoming voice. We have never had such an amazing experience at a tattoo parlor ever! Jered Arlo Banister took care of us and not only was his art amazing and everything we wanted but his personality was so welcoming and funny. He made us both feel very comfortable and laughed with us the whole time. His lines were perfect! I will forever go to him for my tattoos. Even if he moved to another shop or had to move away it wouldn't matter. I pray he makes it big because he deserves it his work speaks for itself and his personality makes the experience so much better! I have already started recommending him to friends and family. Not only did he do both our tattoos in only an hour and a half but he also drew my husbands other matching half to our tattoos! I’ve gotten 2 tattoos here (Dennis and Chad are great). Both were easy to talk to and were conscious of pain and them being my first and only 2 tattoos. Both times I only ended up paying about 75% of what was quoted to me and the tattoos turned out better than I could have hoped! I’ll be sure to come back here for my partial sleeve that I want. Came in to see Gomez after he was highly recommended by a friend. I was amazed by the relaxed atmosphere, cleanliness of the shop, and professionalism of everyone there. Austin was great! My son and I were getting tattoos for the first time and he made the experience very pleasant. All of the artist we spoke to were very nice. The store was extremely clean, including the bathrooms. I moved to Wichita December 2016, so only been here a few months. I've been looking for a new shop to call my home and quickly found out all the tattoo shops are like on one strip. Which one to choose? Looked at artwork from all the shops on that little strip and heard great things about this one. Finally went in today for the walk in Saturday and was very impressed by Austin. Got my first tattoo here when I was 17. My best friend had just passed away, so I got a tattoo to remember him by. My dad drove the two hours to get to Wichita and got a tattoo also. It was a walk-in, and what I was wanting was a little more than a normal walk in. Dennis worked with me, and made sure I got what I was wanting. Went in for very simple tattoo, took very good care of it did everything I was supposed to (as this is not my first one but it's been about 15 years since my last one). Sad to say the coloring is very sparse, so bad I will be going to a different shop to have it redone seeing how if they couldn't do it right the first time I need it done right the second time. I got my forward helix pierced by Ashley, who placed it PERFECTLY. It's gorgeous. And when I started to get a bump, she changed out the long post for a short one for FREE, which I think is just way too much for free. She really cares about her clients and it shows in the quality of the piercing I wear.My daughter got her first tattoo, a small one-color lioness on her shoulder. Even though it wasn't a large piece, our artist made it beautiful and didn't make us feel like we weren't spending enough. It was a wonderful experience. It is really sad that Dennis does awesome work. The problem I have is that he has done a couple really nice tats for me and I paid him quite well for them but he acted like he was doing me a HUGE favor to do them. Then I really don't know if it is him or his staff but when you go in and try to take him more business and he acts like he is just way too busy to speak to you so you wait. Then you come back in a month later and his staff tells you one thing and when you try to do what they told you to do then all of a sudden that's not the right thing. Kinda messed up to make the customer look like a jerk off when he is bringing you referral business. If I ran MY business like this I would be out of business. They are not the only tattoo shop in town. Maybe close to the best but sometimes the b.s. isn't worth it. Read Less

No, it's absolutely not the place to go for tats.  The guy I made an appointment with didn't want to do it so he sat in a chair and talked to his friends while he pawned off the work on some prick with an inflated sense of self importance.  The only thing he said to me besides "sit down" was telling me I should have brought him something more interesting.    He screwed up my sister's tat.  Which probably wouldn't have happened, if he actually spoke with his customers instead of sending a girl over to play telephone.   HORRIBLE SERVICE, it was a total disaster will never ever  go back or recommend this place to anyone.
