I went on Saturday to get my daith pierced because I get awful migraines. I was pierced by Gerald. He was so nice and patient with me. He also adjusted a piece of jewelry that I wanted so it would fit my ear better. He was quick and professional. Afterward he was very encouraging and really made me feel good about it rather than just processing my payment and sending me away. So overall I left feeling very pleased I would definitely go back. I can't believe I haven't left a review before now, but this is for Jason Flash Kuhn! He is by far the most talented watercolor tattoo artist in Wichita. I had two other watercolor pieces done not by him and the color faded within the first year. I'm going on 3 years with a thigh piece by Jason and the color looks better than ever! I don't know how he does it. His artwork is simply fantastic and he makes you feel super comfortable the whole time. I was able to get up and walk around when the pin was getting to be too much and he never rushed his work. But the picture alone can speak for his talent. I got a cover up from the owner on my 16th birthday a few years back just never thought to write a review on it. Anywho i Had a horrible tattoo and I was torn between this shop and elektrik chair. I chose addiction in ink. I wanted multiple flowers on my arm as a cover up, the artist drew one big lotus flower that's hard to tell what it even is. You can still clearly see the tattoo beneath and what it was.. the black on it is not shaded out well at all. Great color, but that'...s because it was on clean skin. I made sure to ask if they could do the cover up before I set up the appointment. When I got to the shop day of nothing had been drawn and had no idea what I wanted. He had looked at it the day i set it up and told me he could cover it up. Paid $250 to cover up a tattoo you can still very visibly see. I don't recommend to anybody. I got shitty tattoos from " at home artist " thinking okay ill go to a shop pay more for them to fix it and it ended up being very disappointing. Sorry guys, I just don't like the cover up at all. For someone who wasn't really in to tattoos. I was surprised with the atmosphere of this place. This was my first time getting a tattoo so I was a little scared. What a joke. Went with my wife for my first tattoo with her as a walk in.and i was there for 2 half hours to find out that the chick before us changed her mind on size and placement. Absolute best experience possible! My original artist was uncomfortable with my design, it was a pin up and a memorial piece. He called me and asked if I would be comfortable with another artist. I said yes, since I had seen his work and I was not disappointed! Honestly, I think it was amazing for my artist to know his strengths and work within them. I would have hated to have this tattoo not be perfect, and I was very happy to work with Bryan. I will be making an appointment with Jason to get a tattoo that plays up to his beautiful watercolors, and I fully expect to have many tattoo appointments at Addictions. Love this shop! Extremely clean, knowedgable and talented. Staff was courteous and worked with my schedule. My tattoo was done by Bryan, it was a memorial pin up and it looks amazing. The price is set by the hour so there are no surprises when it is time to pay and I was super happy with the whole experience. If you are looking  for a new shop, or a new artist,  I highly recommend walking in and talking to the crew at Addicions in Ink. I wish that I could say I was writing a review on the quality of their work, but I never made it that far. I walked up to the gentleman at the front and he was pretty rude to me right out the gate. I told him what tattoo I wanted and he gave me a deer-in-the-headlights look. I'm not sure if he was confused or just being condescending. He finally drew up his own version of what I told him I wanted. It was a cool design, but not what I had asked for. I definitely didn't like it enough to pay what they wanted and be stuck with it on my skin. I'm a firm believer in the phrase "You get what you pay for." With this being said, this is also not my first tattoo and I know what I should be paying for it. It wasn't an overly large or complicated design, but they wanted way too much for it. They also told me they couldn't get me an appointment for several weeks. Maybe they're really that busy, but I'm not sure how considering their complete lack of customer service skills. The vibe they portrayed to me was extreme disinterest. Thankfully, I ended up getting EXACTLY what I wanted somewhere else. Read Less
