I recently got my very first tattoo, and I came to Aftershock because I read so many great reviews online and they have very high ratings overall. I called ahead before I came in and I spoke with Amy. She was extremely upbeat, super informative and gave me excellent suggestions about arrival, how to bring my design, when to show up and what to expect. In addition to my research online prior to choosing Aftershock, my conversation with her was the cherry on top in making my de...cision. Thank you, Amy! Brad was my tattoo artist. He was very friendly, made me feel extremely comfortable about the whole process, didn't rush me into anything and perfectly executed the image (word) I wanted permanently inked on my body. I would absolutely recommend Aftershock to anyone in the area wanting to get inked. Reasonably priced and easy to make an appointment. Saturdays are walk-in customers only, so you don't even need an appointment if you're okay with being assigned an artist, rather than working with someone specific. Since I had never gotten a tattoo before, I didn't have a specific tattooist request, so the Saturday walk-in was perfect for me. Again, if you're in the Olathe/Johnson County area and looking to get your first or fiftieth tattoo, drop into Aftershock! They will do right by you! Thank you so much, Brad, for giving me the perfect piece of art that has such a special, deep meaning to me, that I will love and cherish forever! (I got the word SURVIVOR inked on my right wrist, and its written in my mother's handwriting, rather than a chosen font. I have been in remission from a rare childhood cancer for 15 years now, and my mother was my caregiver throughout my entire journey. Not only is this piece a constant reminder that I AM a survivor, it's also a reminder of the most important woman in my life, who brought me life, and who also cared for me so diligently throughout my path to recovery. Now, I will always have a piece of her with/on me, and so uniquely, HER handwriting.) Hopefully, I will see you again soon for my next piece, Brad! Thanks again! See More Read Less
