This place is awesome! The shop is very clean and spacious. The artist is extremely creative and talented. I walked in with only a vague idea of what I wanted, but after talking to him for two minutes he knew exactly what concept I was trying to execute. I am so thrilled with the outcome! Clinton Burks is one of the best tattoo artists I've ever come across. I was referred to him by my mother. At first, I will admit I was a bit hesitant just because I'd never heard of him before and I wasn't acquainted with his work. I saw a cover-up piece he did for my step-father and figured I'd give it a try. I came to him with an idea and he turned it into something beautiful. I told him my favorite song of all time "Mr Jones" by Counting Crows, and I told him I wanted a tattoo of a flamenco dancer described in the song. He asked a few simple questions and went to work. When I saw the final production I fell in love! Then, a couple weeks later I went in to get it done. Clinton is such a fun guy. Keeps up a friendly conversation and had no problem answering the many random questions I threw at him about tattooing and how he got started up with the business. Clinton Burks is fantastic! I brought a shell of an idea for a tattoo and he created what many equate to a painting. It is full of color and the shading, shadowing and fades are beautiful. I didn't want just another standard tattoo and Clinton certainly delivered. We took our time and it was worth the wait. The cool part was I came back 4 times to continue the tattoo and he picked right back up where he left off but it looks like it was all done at the same time. That shows consistency and focus. And on top of that he is fun to hang with. His new shop in Leavenworth is way cool. You have to give him a try. Look him up on Facebook and take a look at his portfolio. This place is fantastic.... My first tattoo and it is awsome. what a great trip, my boyfriend got a tattoo and my son got a new one also. Clinton is a great guy and a great artist. The care and concern about your artwork, is taken by the entire staff. Although we were on vacation, my boyfriend and i agree the 960 miles we traveled, was well worth the opportunity to visit this bussinness. we give this place a 5 STAR rating and many thumbs up.
